Ralph Nader’s Green spoiler votes in the 2000 election added up to 5 times the difference between winner and loser in the popular vote count. Victorious, George Waffen Bush dedicated his entire second term to ramping up federal-state asset forfeiture “sharing” in the proceeds of prohibitionist armed robbery. Green Party ideologues meanwhile ramped up the DEMs’ approach to climate data forgery. The result is shown in the graph.
This illustrates the effect of two main drivers: parasitical greed coupled with social pressure affecting opinions among the gullible majority, and the impressive power of small-party spoiler votes.
