Severability and Spoiler Votes

Spoiler votes change the laws–escape!

The entrenched kleptocracy keeps government jobs and parasitical subsidies by duping registered voters into fearing “the” other bucket of crabs. Each bucket is a package-deal of unrelated lobbyist agendas. Many contracts are also package-deals thrown together by disparate stakeholders. Out of fear that the courts will strike down one of the more egregious clauses, a severability clause is usually stirred into the crab-boil.

A severability clause states that if parts of the contract are held to be illegal or otherwise unenforceable, the remainder of the contract should still apply. The Constitution works that way without the need for a severance clause. The 13th Amendment ended chattel slavery and voided the fugitive slave (=”property”) clause from Article IV, yet the Constitution survived and the Supreme Court even ruled that conscription wasn’t really involuntary servitude.

The Constitution is amended (for better or for worse) by small party spoiler votes. Religious fanatics casting 1.4% of the vote created the 18th amendment making beer a felony. Communist fanatics shifted the paradigm and added Communist Manifesto plank 2 as the 16th Amendment. No severability clause was needed. The severability that matters–that changes laws–is when you sever relations with both halves of the entrenched looter kleptocracy. They then have to change their platforms to try and lure back those spoiler votes.  Why? So their snouts–not the other gang’s–can be in the trough.

Crabs–scavengers for carrion–cannot escape a bucket because their fellow partisans in that bucket energetically pull down any who try to escape over the wall. In the Republican bucket, if a wealthy woman executive wants to reverse an unplanned pregnancy, that’s too bad. Mystical bigots will pull her down. If a producer does not want his son or daughter shot, robbed, raped and jailed over a plant leaf, group peer pressure grabs his ankles lest he escape the collective bucket.

Anyone in the Democrat bucket who is tired of being looted and robbed is likewise dragged down by United Front activists and scolded for attempted desertion under fire. After all, women would have “no rights” and there would be “no roads” if not for the Communist Manifesto plank 2, right? You’ve got to believe that faked temperature data is real or the Republicans will shoot, rob, rape and jail your sons and daughters over a plant leaf to please their prohibitionist hangers-on.

But will they change or simply lie? Fools will believe anything, and their conformist votes identify them as dupes. With that in mind, ask yourself if you really expect the truth from anyone committed to taking from others by force?

But what happens when voters can polevault into a completely different bucket, or escape to freedom? What paradigm shift results when your vote can tell politicians you say NO to robbing, murdering, bombing, or defrauding anyone? What happens when you finally realize that cowardice, dishonesty, lack of integrity is what dooms the crabs in those buckets to the boiling pot? In the past, what always happened was that the laws changed, and the Constitution changed. In the present, that change can be for the better. Do YOURSELF a favor. Increase your law-changing clout by voting Libertarian.

Shocked Democratic Voters

Hillary Clinton’s published effort to protect the Democratic Party platform committee from blame for the Republican Party victory proves she never really understood Orwell’s 1984.

Her party made the mistake of copying the government bureaucracy hallucination that urges persons entirely ignorant of basic physics to believe that the industrial application of Maxwell’s equations is increasing the Earth’s temperature. The Democratic platform seeks to make These United States into another Puerto Rico–a huge electrical blackout with no nuclear reactors. Here is what its candidate imagined George Orwell wrote:

This is what happens in George Orwell’s classic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, when a torturer holds up four fingers and delivers electric shocks until his prisoner sees five fingers as ordered.

To be fair, none of Hillary’s religious conservative prohibitionist critics noticed the error in physics. Possibly the more literate among them recalled John Galt being tortured with electrical voltage. The far more numerous Republicans, every bit as illiterate as so many Democrats, probably recalled the same scene as remade in the second Rambo movie. This is understandable error, but Winston Smith was NOT tortured with electrical shocks in Orwell’s novel “The Last Man in Europe” (published as Nineteen Eighty-Four). Nor was there electric torture in the movie version with Richard Burton as the Inner Party member. Anyone with enough basic science education to vote to keep electrical power safe and legal AND WHO HAS READ THE BOOK will easily spot the error. Winston Smith, Orwell wrote:

… did not know whether the thing was really happening, or whether the effect was electrically produced; but his body was being wrenched out of shape, the joints were being slowly torn apart. Although the pain had brought the sweat out on his forehead, the worst of all was the fear that his backbone was about to snap. He set his teeth and breathed hard through his nose, trying to keep silent as long as possible. (…) ‘That was forty,’ said O’Brien. ‘You can see that the numbers on this dial run up to a hundred.

Winston Smith was being subjected to the initiation of force strong enough to deform his spinal column and cause intense pain.  The units are hardly important except in the proportional sense intended to intimidate, but one might expect some such result from 40 kilograms-force amounting to nearly 400 Newtons. (I do not vote Republican and am not a torture buff, so I’m only guessing). The point is that the torture was accomplished by the use of blunt force, not electric potential, in both book and movie. True, there may have been an electric motor compressing air or turning gears to make the table move.

There is considerable mention of electricity in 1984. In the book’s second paragraph Winston doesn’t bother trying the elevator… the electricity was cut off during daylight hours, so he climbed the seven flights of stairs–as happens today in North Korea or Puerto Rico. But there was always power for the teevee. Just as in Amerika, the Ingsoc teevee delivers the Two Minutes Hate in reaction to any defense of freedom of speech:

A hideous ecstasy of fear and vindictiveness, a desire to kill, to torture, to smash faces in with a sledge-hammer, seemed to flow through the whole group of people like an electric current, turning one even against one’s will into a grimacing, screaming lunatic.

Does that quote remind you of any loser demonstrations after half the electorate preferred the Republican and Libertarian access to energy planks? The two pro-energy parties arguably won the popular vote because the Libertarian Party got as many votes as were cast in the entire State of Virginia, a million more than the “almost 3%” Hillary claimed for the Dems. Those Democrat protesters should be hunting down their own platform committee members–the ones that pushed planks to ban power plants instead of re-legalizing medicinal and enjoyable plant leaves.

Econazi policies cost the Dems a whole passel of cushy government jobs, grants, subsidies, handouts and opportunities to be the better people whose goons know what’s good for the riff-raff. They lost because of Fifth-Column infiltrators, not because of the candidate who can’t correctly read her own ghostwritten Mein Kampf.

But Hillary was right about another scene in 1984, where Two soft pads, which felt slightly moist, clamped themselves against Winston’s temples. O’Brien said to Winston “This time it will not hurt…” There was undoubtedly a blinding flash of light. Winston was not hurt, only prostrated. (…) “Just now I held up the fingers of my hand to you. You saw five fingers. Do you remember that?”
“Yes.”

This, in Orwell’s book was cure, not torture. This electroshock therapy, which happened once, is what DemoGOP politicians, their lobbyists and backers mean by “providing help” for deniers with “mental health problems.” Peer-reviewed Government Health political scientists will show us altered records of temperature data and we will actually believe the data have not been tampered with! But that party lost the election, and all its votes were wasted.

I voted libertarian, for the same party whose woman candidate for vice-president obtained an electoral vote in 1972. That 0.01% of the electoral vote forced the Supreme Court to strike down all George Wallace Dixiecrat coathanger abortion laws 45 days later. Our votes won us the repeal of superstitious laws, and a victory for individual rights. That’s winning!

Superstition against Science

First there was Mussolini’s Pope, signing Lateran treaties with Il Duce in exchange for religious indoctrination and conditioning in government schools. Then Pacelli was elevated to papal infallibility as Hitler’s Pope. Today, at long last, Herr Gavin Schmidt of the Econazi Internationale has finally managed to secure a Pope of his own, and one evidently predisposed to revive that Holiest of all Inquisitions, no less. That’s progress!

Chamberlin’sThe Bad Popes” may be due for an added chapter soon. The Dark Ages were those centuries in which Europe was dominated by Protestant, Catholic and Mohammedan warfare, torture and superstition. Eight centuries later, James Clerk Maxwell organized Faraday’s and Coulomb’s research into the equations of electrodynamics. This work proceeded even as Britain bombarded China to preserve an outlet for opium grown by Indians, themselves reduced to near-enslavement, and while tax-and-spend advocates of extortionate protective tariffs in These States bombarded, shot, pillaged and burned neighbors whose laziness had made them dependent on the exploitation of chattel slavery.

Science, not suicidal superstition, wins

Science overcame superstition when the derivative was 2.1%–The Pill saved the Planet

Yet here we are, 1867 years after the invention of the Jesus myth and actual ex-scientists, now devote their efforts to the spread of mysticism and superstition. This same ex-scientist seeks, in addition to interfere with the electrical generation that has increased human life expectancy. Earth’s population has grown from two billion–when Christian prohibition enforcers shot beer smugglers in cold blood–to 7.5 billion less than 90 years later–when Christians send men with guns to shoot people for harvesting the “wrong” plants, and to jail doctors for offering a safe alternative to coathanger abortions.

The Catholic papacy fought to have the pill banned, and today its agents control politicians who deny the individual rights of women in backward countries. Pope Francis is the person most responsible every time a woman dies for lack of medical assistance with an unwanted pregnancy. Everything that could forestall a Malthusian catastrophe or make life possible on an overcrowded planet the infallible coot opposes. Still, the Vatican burns electricity like it was going out of style, while Puerto Rico is without power.

Electoral Spoiler Votes, 1968

Ku-klux Klanbake

Judge Roy is as clearly a whack job as George Wallace, so no need to belabor the point. To voters residing in Alabama, the much more pressing concern is: what candidates can be found to run on a libertarian platform as the opposition? Much of what is wrong in Dixieland is the lingering effect of George Wallace’s candidacy and the electoral spoiler votes it gained among–whatever their faults–fiscally conservative low-tariff states. Offering LP candidates as an alternative wields more law-changing clout than joining the character-assassination frenzy endemic to kleptocracy political races.

JFK had more than his character assassinated, but his refusal to enslave youth as cannon-fodder for a takeover of the French opium regie in Cochin-China set an example for the world.  His coldly calculated murder set These States back several decades and many lives. As witness, here is a graph showing how the organized criminal gang that killed JFK is currently meddling with the former British opium regie in Afghanistan. Republican protectionism favoring stupefacient dope has fostered an epidemic of fatal overdoses.

But the Libertarian Party had changed national jurisprudence by 1973. Tonie Nathan and John Hospers’ electoral vote prompted the Supreme Court to add the Libertarian Platform plank on women’s individual rights to its Roe v. Wade decision by early 1973. By the time Nixon was facing impeachment charges, military conscription was trying its best to look inconspicuous. But it’s still there, just waiting to be reactivated.

Libertarians need to explain that “free trade” means the exact same revenue only tariff that financed all government expenditures until the second Tariff of Abominations written by Justin S. Morrill passed shortly after Lincoln was elected. Another mischaracterization is calling the LP migration plank “open borders,” The LP supports excluding dangerous people from These States, but does not support another Berlin Wall.

What the LP does not need is more goofy platform planks. The Texas Libertarian Party platform is a dog’s breakfast of pusillanimous pettifoggery much more liable to frighten than reassure voters. The national party platform experimenting with communist anarchism approaches to the death sentence is another example of bad platform drafting. Non-libertarians read it and imagine the idea is to hire mercenaries to go around killing criminals. Libertarians see in it higher taxes to support folks like Robert Dear in lifetime warmth and comfort. The numbskull experiment of 1990–infiltrators waving a red flag to anger religious conservatives in exchange for NO VOTES whatsoever–is not the sort of thing that bears repeating.

National Socialist Relics Today

Gott Mitt Uns!

The Common Good Before the Individual Good!

It’s been 78 years since the original National Socialist Germany invaded Czechoslovakia and Poland. What changed?
They surrendered as it became clear the Atomic Bomb would make socialist aggression a poor bet, and most National Socialists not captured joined the Soviet Socialist party to escape U.S. denazification. But Socialism’s Berlin Wall crashed and Germany turned to Ecological National Socialism (environmental purity replacing racial purity).

So November 7, 2017 brought to light a 550-pound bomb buried in Potsdam since the war. A 150-pound bomb was unearthed October 19, 2017 near a U.S. entangling alliance base. (Americans are also good at this business of not learning from past mistakes).  This was barely two weeks after 10,000 Berliners were evacuated over a different bomb. Another 60,000 had been evacuated a month earlier, in September. That was still fewer than the 70,000 evacuated over a bomb dug up in Frankfurt late August.

A prison and environs were evacuated late June 2017 in Regensburg over a bomb weighing nearly 500 pounds. This was after a tenth the population of Hanover was evacuated that May because of a similar-size bomb discovered in March, shortly after old-school nationalsocialists protested the retaliatory bombing of Dresden (instead of ceasing hostilities and handing over Hitler, Goebbels, Eichmann, Goering and other altruist NSDAP partisans).

“So what about 2016?” I hear you ask. Augsburg was largely evacuated in celebration of Christmas after finding a bomb the size of an apartment block water heater earlier that December. Late that September another neighborhood was evacuated over a bomb found in Cologne. The Hannover airport was evacuated when an unexploded bomb was found late in May, and late in 2015 most of Germany was on bomb alert on account of toys produced by a different congregation of religious conservatives Germany has been importing like bananas. Every year, year after year, the bombs brought on by German religious conservatives turn up, and Germany is still nearly as mystical and socialist as in the ’30s and ’40s.

What is it about these religions that causes people to declare themselves God’s own Gestapo and initiate the use of deadly force against people within and without their borders? After 8 decades of evacuations over bombs not already dug up in the late 1940s, Germans still hang effigies of mythical dead mystics on their walls and embrace theologies that deny the evidence of thermometers to justify another Armageddon-is-Nigh wave of evangelical socialism. What is wrong with these people?

If you would like to stop tax dollars from sending men with guns to Germany, Africa, other Ottoman relics and religious kingdoms, consider voting libertarian. If you are curious about what communist, fascist and socialist governments in Latin America are up to, or need travel documents translated, ask a translator.

Tony Heller Wrecked my Theory

I follow a blog by an electrical engineer who writes code and graphs data. The delightful part is that the unaltered data graphs he produces do not agree with theories pompously put forth by Doomsday Cassandras. In fact, Tony Heller takes on the entire panoply of Millerite doomcrying by unemployable ex-scientists whose theories invariably require the initiation of force. And he does it as competently as Petr Beckmann did while still alive.

Petr Beckmann was a young electrical engineer working on the same project as physicist Arthur C. Clarke toward the end of WWII. As described in the novel “Glide Path,” with radio and radar they guided RAF bombers returning from Germany to land safely. Beckmann held a grudge against all socialist invaders of Czechoslovakia, and his delightful Access to Energy newsletter and book on nuclear safety weakened their efforts to trick Americans into disarming or crippling their own power plants. Watching RealClimateScience.com dismantle perpetrators of hoaxes is a delight.

Suddenly Heller comes up with these Zapruder frames of the Kennedy assassination showing what looks like a luminous circle. I tried, like others, to imagine they were sunlight reflecting off of fragments.  I had a personal stake in the thing not being real. After years of research on the Kennedy assassination I was working on a fiction novella requiring only two snipers. That bright dot was not at all consistent with my theory or partial manuscript, and would require rewrites and edits. Finally, the dot would not go away. It recalled another video looking northwest from the south side of Dealey Plaza in which a flash of light at the picket fence was surmised to be evidence of a shooter firing at the President from behind a flimsy fence. But my fictional theory required only two snipers. From its height, Occam and I could loftily look down theories requiring more than two assassins and scornfully dismiss that flash. But the troublesome shiny dot ruined my manuscript by introducing reasonable doubt.

How was I supposed to know that gunslingers fancied putting mercury in bullets? But people act on all sorts of wrong beliefs. Police rushed up the slope at the north end of the grassy bridge abutment, perhaps with good reason. Yes there are holes in mobster Files’ story, but none so large as the politicians’ theory that had prompted me to work out a different explanation. Reasonable doubt has now wrecked my story before it was ready to publish–luckily for me. I pity people like Gavin and Gore, whose published documendacities Mr Heller has unpityingly gored. But I can’t help noticing that none of them find fault with his arguments or dispute the unimbellished data he presents. They could show a little gratitude to someone able to correct their papers. After all Gottlob Frege had the good grace to thank Bertrand Russell for derailing his mathematical work. Unfortunately, Frege, like Gore, Gavin and wishful thinkers on the IIPC had already published their errors.

If you ever need an experienced translator of forensic reports, death certificates and autopsy results from Portuguese or Spanish, look me up. I also write fiction about politicians and such.

Looter Vote Counts

Here are reported 2016 election returns for Boulder County, Colorado, from the Longmont Times-Call. The last column was simply left blank on the assumption that most voters do not know how to add or subtract.

Voters who rely on looter press vote counts are simply kept unaware of the existence of libertarian spoiler votes. How then are they to figure out that those spoiler votes pack at least six times the law-changing clout of a vote wasted on the looter kleptocracy that newspaper serves?

Countywide Clinton Trump Libertarian?
Longmont 55.3% 33.1% 11.6%
Boulder 80.8% 10.9% 8.3%
Erie 56.8% 32% 11.2%
Lafayette 68.6% 21.2% 10.2%
Louisville 78.1% 20.7% 1.2%

It is possible that Green econazis or ku-klux Tea-partiers may have gotten some of those unreported votes. But the Libertarian Party is on the ballot in all 50 states. And it is definitely true that looter parties–the ones that rob you at gunpoint–are perfectly willing to lie, cheat and steal the vote count. The Longmont Times-Call newspaper, through its staff Writer Karen Antonacci, clearly lied about the election outcome.  Looter kleptocracy parties do it to each other all the time.

Al Franken lost the Minnesota Senate race by a couple of hundred votes, then won on recount by over twice that many. The initial and final count of those decisive votes differed by 245%. What better proof that looters lie, cheat and steal to get access to the initiation of force? I personally want verifiable voting. Mark Twain voted by bawling out his choice in the public square, but I would settle for a QR code (like a secret but verifiable ATM receipt) to let me check online how MY vote was tallied. Until then, we are groping in the dark–as Lysander Spooner described during Reconstruction–under a secret band of robbers and murderers.

Looter parties set up fake Mexican standoffs so that even honest and well-informed voters are gulled away from supporting freedom. Just now Boulder politicians offered an either-or “choice.” The fake choice was not between freedom and coercion, but between a monopoly on a natural gas power plant and another monopoly on worthless, self-destructing windmills. Boulder is home to chinook winds nearly as powerful as the hurricane that just destroyed the windmills and solar panels Puerto Rican taxpayers were duped into installing.

Fourteen candidates were presented, and any libertarians among them were barred by law from identifying themselves on the ballot as against the initiation of force. Their vote counts would doubtless be misreported. Single digits you say?

We got same kind of digits in 2016 as the 9% spoiler vote commie populists in 1892 used as a springboard for getting Congress to enact a federal income tax by 1894. A single digit is the same as the Prohibition Party 1.4% vote average for the 11 campaigns leading up to the 16th Amendment. For 14 years beer, wine and sauerkraut were felony narcotics, with gunfights everywhere until the economy completely collapsed in February 1933.

Our 0.01% of the electoral vote in 1972 was arguably less than a single digit, but in 45 days it pressured the Republican Suprema Corte into enforcing the individual rights of women and their physicians in Roe v. Wade. We got no electoral vote in 2016, but libertarian votes spanned the gap between the looter parties in 11 states casting 90 electoral votes. Casting spoiler votes that increase freedom is winning. Letting the looter kleptocracy destroy our freedom is losing. This is binary, either-or, simple, true and inescapable.

The Libertarian parties in Texas need candidates to help improve the laws there. Canada’s Libertarian Party now has a woman president and is accepting donations from Canadian residents. Is you want to understand something written in Spanish by libertarians, or have a libertarian message to divulge in Portuguese, get in touch.

Beginners Takeover Amendment–ATA bylaws–FAILED!

“One of the many fine things that one has to admit is the way that the Army has carried the American democratic ideal to its logical conclusion–in the sense that not only do they prohibit discrimination on the grounds of race, creed and color, but also on the grounds of ability.”Tom Lehrer

The board of the American Translators Association, since 1991 entirely dominated by the American Society of Association Executives–ASAE, wanted ATA members to give beginners and infiltrators voting control over the association. Why?

In 1981 a bloodless coup placed translators (as opposed to beginners and labor outsourcing agencies) in charge of the American Translators Association. To register to vote you had to demonstrate some translation ability by passing a test. Choose 3 out of 5 short passages, translate them without too many errors, and you became accredited (certified), and could vote. This model was championed by Ben Teague and Patricia Newman in the December 1981 ATA Chronicle, and opposed by many managers of large translation agencies. These powerful interests later put the ASAE, its managers and attorneys in charge of all ATA activities, with an ASAE executive present at every board meeting. Translators serve on the board without pay, but ASAE executives are paid handsomely to rewrite our bylaws and “run” our organization.

Exceptions were made whereby translators of rare languages (especially if also representatives of large agencies) produced less objective evidence of ability and thereby gained the franchise. These “active-but-uncertified” members were the entering wedge of an agenda separate from the art and science of translation. Ask yourself: how many of them took and passed certification tests once those became available in their claimed languages?

The results? Thanks to lobbyists, South Texas Federal District Courts pay a premium to untested members of a foreign association. ATA-member interpreters certified for translation in both directions of their language pair are discriminated against by U.S. federal courts. Yet colleges, cities and states are increasingly requiring translations by ATA-certified translators, not “voting” members who have never passed a test.

Why propose these amendments? Because earlier amendments kidnapping our certification credentials for Continuing Extortion have alienated members able to pass a simple test. Certification has become an onerous liability and real translators a target of discrimination.  Replacing those certified members with fake translators and voting middlemen only compounds the damage caused by previous anti-translator amendments designed to penalize the competent.

Examine the resolution issued by the United Nations on 24 May 2017. It praises “competitive examinations,” then Affirms that “professional translation, as a trade and an art, plays an important role in upholding the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, bringing nations together, facilitating dialogue, understanding and cooperation, contributing to development and strengthening world peace and security;” …

Now look at the resolution proposed in tandem with these ATA bylaws amendments. The ATA board resolution is whining over political election outcomes and boils down to:  “…we, (Paleface), strongly oppose … all forms of expression of … religious intolerance, and strongly favor welcoming qualified immigrants who, … seek refuge here from war or persecution.” Ask yourself:  Is this another bid to import additional ideologues who engage in wars of religious intolerance and persecution in their own countries and elsewhere? Surely America already has enough of those!

An alternative resolution supporting diversity instead of violence reads:

“I certify that I oppose the initiation of force to achieve political or social goals.”

I have proudly signed this non-aggression certification, and I vote against all parties that attack/invade other countries.  Pro-freedom translators are invited to become certified against coercion and the violence it engenders.  The ASAE’s attempted anti-translator and pro-impostor bylaws amendments are unprofessional. The violent ideologue importation resolution advocates coercive censorship. Censorship is part of the very initiation of persecution and force that leads to war. Surely the reader will recall that honest communication is the first casualty of war.

Linguist-entrepreneurs may join the Libertarian Translators communications list. Ask me how. There is also a Freelancers Union for all professions operating out of New York.
