Alongside the religious fanatics who swear that German Lutherans and Catholics never built 66 death camps in which to exterminate “selfish” juden in the 1940s, a new variant of end-times Millerites has emerged–possibly in counterreaction to the Islamic reaction to the George Holy War Bush dynasty invasions of Ottoman territory beginning in 1990.

Faced with the literal text of an international treaty declaring that These United States are NOT a mystical theocracy, American National Socialists vehemently insist that the Treaty of Peace and Friendship of 1796 between Tripoli and These United States is a lie, fiction, a clumsy fabrication with no basis in reality. Richard Dawkins, the scientist and author of The Selfish Gene, is somehow dragged into accountability. Here is some text excerpted from my own 1909 collection of treaties:

Article XI. As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility of Musselmen; and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehometan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries. (page 1786)
I, Joel Barlow, agent and consul general of the United States of America, for the city and kingdom of Algiers, certify and attest that the foregoing is a true copy of the Treaty, concluded between the said United States and the Bey and subjects of Tripoli of Barbary, of which the original is to be transmitted by me to the Minister of the said United States, in Lisbon. In testimony whereof, I signed these presence with my hand and a fix there to the seal of the consulate of the United States, and Algiers, this fourth day of January, 1797. Joel Barlow. (…) Know ye, that I, David Humphreys, Commissioner plenipotentiary aforesaid, do approve and conclude the said treaty, and every article and clause therein contained, reserving the same nevertheless for final ratification of the president of the United States of America, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate of the said United States. In testimony whereof, I have signed the same with my name and seal, at the city of Lisbon, this 10th of February, 1797. David Humphreys.

That was the hotly denied Treaty of 1796, but the superseding 1805 Treaty of Peace and Amity with the Mehomitan Musselmen of Tripoli soon followed. Its Article XIV is toned down compared to its Freethinking precursor. For one thing, French Napoleonic communism in its post-Terror period had spread to Italy, and looking north from Africa, the myrmidons of Mohammed probably preferred watching secular socialists to having so many crusader-types busily gunning for them. But Americans–at the time caught up in the apoplectic fits of the Second Great Awakening–doubtless looked aghast at the very idea of abandoning Jesus in the confrontation with the Barbary Coast Saracen blackamoor.

The toned-down 1805 Tripoli Treaty disclaimer of fanaticism began:

Article XIV: As the Government of the United States of America has in itself no character of enmity towards the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen; and as the said States have never entered into any voluntary war or any act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, except in the defense of their jus rights to freely navigate the high seas, it is declared by the contracting parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries. (…)

Since the offending “America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion;” has been neatly elided, National Socialists of all denominations will doubtless endorse this version as real, genuine, legitimate and not a clerical error based on mistranslation of an alien language they themselves couldn’t read if they had to. The balance of the Article consists mainly of As-samalu-alaykums reminiscent of a Cecil B. de Mille production on how Crusaders and Salazar agree that Allah is God–or perhaps the cover of a Charlie Hebdo comic.

The Religious Conservative Dilemma

On January 27, 2017, one week after his inauguration, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order entitled “Protecting the Nation From Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.” Exec. Order 13,769, 82 Fed. Reg. 8977 (Jan. 27, 2017) (“EO-1”). EO-1’s stated purpose was to “protect the American people from terrorist attacks by foreign nationals admitted to the United States.”

Many people disagree with the wisdom of this EO. Ahmed Aminamin El-Mofty of Pennsylvania and Everitt Aaron Jameson of San Francisco, for instance, thought the Executive Order a bad idea. After all, Donald Trump sewed up the Republican nomination by telling Reason TV personnel: “Libertarianism? I like it!” That alone was enough to draw the boiling wrath of communists, socialists, fascists, prohibitionists, amok berserkers, suicide-vest designers, iSlam, iS, all looter intelligentzia and cognoscenti, greens and democrats. But Republicans who recalled losing to Clinton–after Ross Perot spoiled their party–quickly perceived the benefits of setting aside prejudice and nominating someone who wasn’t even a despised politician.

Is there an objective basis, evidence, to show that excluding entry of Saracen berserkers and communist nationals was a bad idea? We’ve seen how satellite photos of Puerto Rico and Texas prove that uranium reactors survive undamaged, while solar panels and windmills produce only blackouts when hit by a hurricane. So how have These States fared when compared to the sensitive, concerned and aware People’s States of Ecological National Socialist Europe? Europeans have done a lot of bragging about how loftily they’ve been importing intolerant, faith-based, self-sacrificing mystical fanatics. The comparison is easy to make. Here is a picture showing terrorist attacks in These States and environs (not counting the ones currently making headlines).

So where’s the dilemma? The dilemma is that American religious fanatics attack some trade and production, whereas their ideological bretheren in the People’s States also attack some trade and production at America’s urging, and leave the killing and maiming of innocent bystanders in the hands of cheap immigrant labor.  The Republican party used to do basically the same thing.  On January 29, 2001, George Bush Jr. issued Executive Order 13199—Establishment of White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. The idea was:

“…charitable community groups, including religious ones, should have the fullest opportunity permitted by law to compete on a level playing field, so long as they achieve valid public purposes, such as curbing crime, conquering addiction, strengthening families and neighborhoods, and overcoming poverty. This delivery of social services must be results oriented and should value the bedrock principles of pluralism, nondiscrimination, evenhandedness, and neutrality.

The result was a sharp increase in infiltration by officious activists and confidential informants eagerly telling federal, state and local enforcement personnel where they might raid the Hemp from Hell and round up the Servants of Satan while confiscating their property, homes, savings, automobiles, businesses and bank accounts.

Instead of easily-understood pictures of smoking ruins and mangled children, the Bush application of Divine Revelation through Comstock-Law asset forfeiture produced capital flight, a liquidity crisis, a long and miserable economic depression and the quickening of socialist and nationalsocialist infiltration into the US government. By adding more intervention in Ottoman territory, the GOP managed to spark retaliation resulting in the World Trade Crater in New York City.

By copying the Libertarian energy and gun planks, God’s Own Prohibitionists have held on to some pelf, boodle, government paychecks and graft. But their tragic addiction to coercive bigotry instituted by Anthony Comstock and the Prohibition Party shows the Urinalysis Party still has a lot to learn if it hopes to earn the votes of honest, rational, independent citizens.

Non-partisan Parasitism

Censoring Libertarian candidates and platforms breeds parasitism

Since 1972 the number of unproductive hands on Federal government payroll has faltered, then decreased. Formation of the Libertarian Party–even when crippled by Nixon anti-libertarian election subsidies–blocked that avenue of expansion. LIB for Libertarian now appears on ballots in all 50 states.

But local elections, completely partisan in former decades, now resort to disguising the party platforms on which candidates are running. That this is papered over with a bunch of sanctimonious guff about being “non-partisan” hints at how ashamed predatory kleptocracy has become about its depredations.  Because small minds discuss people, they are the more vulnerable to those eager to avoid discussion of ideas.

Looter Media Attacks

Intellectuals of the looter persuasion are quoting Eric Trump as if their cynicism could modify his observation:

“That’s been the playbook in our government for so long: distract, disrupt, hurt, bash, defame, do whatever you can for your own political gain. It’s sad that we don’t have more morals or character or whatever it is.” —Eric Trump

The rough-and-tumble at issue became serious because just as the Libertarian Party was forming, Nixon’s National Socialist Congress passed the Anti-Libertarian Campaign Bribery law of 1971.  Two decades later,  a non-Kleptocracy candidate had this to say about the way the Altruist Broadcasting Corporation, Nationalsocialist Broadcasting Corporation and Communist Broadcasting Service (the dirty tricks guys) were attacking him in October of 1992:

Yes Ross Perot helped the entrenched looter kleptocracy divert voters away from the Libertarian Party. He was repaid in government cash subsidies taken out of the pockets of many honest working people who would rather not coerce anyone.  Perot reinforced the superstitious ignorance that caused These States to export brutal prohibitionism to South America, confident that would destroy the economies of Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia while setting up a fascist dictatorship in Peru. It is true that Reagan Administration manipulation of prohibition and tax laws did wreck a prohibition-created source of cash then fueling communist expansion. But the process corrupted the entire Mexican government into a huge 1930s Chicago.

Spoiler votes cast for Ross Perot unfrocked the more fanatical zealots the way The Liberal Party platform had in 1932. Perot’s spoiler votes reversed deficit spending and led to a surplus just as George Wallace spoiler votes turned Republicans into ku-klux Dixiecrats before the election subsidies law. The Clinton years were prosperous thanks mostly to the policy changes caused by Ross Perot spoiler votes. The looter press, naturally, thanked The Kleptocracy.

So yes, Eric Trump, you observe correctly, and you can do something to improve the situation. Vote Libertarian in the mid-term elections. Tell fake media that the Nixon Media Subsidies to favor the entrenched parties have polluted democracy. Come clean, follow Dad’s good example and say: “Libertarianism? I like it!” The LP platform, the one that got your Dad the nomination, takes less than half an hour to read. Borrowing our energy and Second Amendment planks landed you in the White House. I’m hoping I can count on your vote NOT as a token of appreciation. We both want back the cleaner elections we had before Richard Nixon altered the tax code to subsidize the initiation of force and undermine American morality.

“I like it. A lot of good points…” Those words guaranteed that the desperate, destitute and dishonest Gee Oh Pee urinalysis party would nominate Donald ten months later. That got Republicans government jobs, paychecks–and opportunities to have younger men violently put to death on both sides of the planet.  Three will get you five that that looter cartoonist will not quote your mention of the LP on his mudline fed by subsidized media pets.

When I first encountered the LP in 1980, it took awhile for their main preoccupation to sink in. To libertarians, they explained, the initiation of force is like the price of steel. You set up equations and logical solutions that minimize the initiation of force, just as canners know how to minimize the surface area of a can of peas. As the initiation of force approaches zero, freedom (by definition) is increased and, consequently, wealth and life-worth-living multiply apace.

Now that the LP wields as many votes as the State of Virginia, looter parties are confronted with pawn power on the chessboard in the form of LP spoiler votes. Each entrenched looter party now has to repeal aggressive laws or lose because of libertarian spoiler votes. If either entrenched party fails in this task, more libertarian spoiler votes are cast. In the looter frame of reference, every such vote greatly increases the risk that the other looter party will win and snatch away “their” boodle and commandeer “their” armed goons. That’s third-party reality, and ignoring it won’t make it go away.

Both kleptocracy parties go to great lengths to trick voters into giving them the sanction of the victim. They make up fake names, for instance. Mystical bigots who in 1918 were monarchists, prohibitionists, and theocrats now call themselves  “conservatives.” Factory-confiscating communists who in 1918 called themselves “socialists” today prefer the cognomen of “liberals.” Liberal is what parsimonious low-tariff mercantilists answered to back when communists called them “plutocrats,” “capitalists” or “The Accumulation.” That gradually changed, primarily through the efforts of the Fabian Society and Norman Thomas:

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism,” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened. I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform.” ― Norman Mattoon Thomas

Socialists and theocrats, who after 1939 claimed that Adolf Hitler “wasn’t really” a socialist OR christian and that catholic and lutheran clergy “never really” helped the National Socialist Third Reich, loudly claim Thomas “never said” such a thing. Fine. The statement is no less true (if one expects truth from looters) and there is an undisputed equivalent by a contemporaneous intellectual of the looter persuasion:

The American People will take Socialism, but they won’t take the label. I certainly proved it in the case of EPIC.* Running on the Socialist ticket I got 60,000 votes, and running on the slogan to ‘End Poverty in California’ I got 879,000. I think we simply have to recognize the fact that our enemies have succeeded in spreading the Big Lie. There is no use attacking it by a front attack, it is much better to out-flank them. –Upton Sinclair, circa 1934

After Soviet Russia self-identified as a non-religious state, as the United States had in the Treaty of Tripoli, a schism developed between christian nationalsocialists and lay socialists. The Hoover Administration would not recognize the Soviet government. Because this Treaty of Tripoli is disputed and denied by christian national socialists, I include here Article XI  from my original 1910 version of Treaties, Conventions, International Acts, Protocols and Agreements Vol II p 1786:

The contest between Liberals, Socialists and Organized Mysticism has–with little change of meaning–morphed into a three-way contest between Libertarians, lay international socialists, and religious national socialists. Libertarian spoiler votes are reversing those rights-destroying trends of the 1890s to 1990s by repaying them in much the same coin. Populist spoiler votes in 1892 set them in motion in the first place, and George Wallace spoiler votes in 1968 accelerated the process.

Simply put, the philosophical teachings of Ayn Rand–put in writing in 1947 as National Socialists were put to death for altruist genocide at Nuremberg–have replaced altruist conditioning that favored the initiation of force. Consequently, the Libertarian Party, founded on sympathetic principles, has replaced all looter parties as the prime mover for change.

The leveraged clout of libertarian spoiler votes is changing laws even more efficiently than the communist-socialist-populist spoiler votes of a century ago. Libertarian success is not a mater of putting “our” politicians on government payrolls. It is the result of giving voters a way to express their preference for freedom in terms no political party dares to ignore. –Hank Phillips

Trump’s Libertarian Party Card

On September 9, 2015, Donald Trump gave Reason TV his opinion of libertarianism:

Donald Trump: “I like it. A lot of good things. I don’t want to talk to you now, but a lot of good things, a lot of good points.”

On July 19, 2016, Donald Trump won an entrenched party nomination as its candidate for president. Time elapsed: 10 months and ten days after he said nice things about the LP.org.

On November 8, 2016 Donald Trump was elected President.
Time elapsed after Trump’s original pro-libertarian comment: 14 months.

George Waffen Bush’s first Executive Order establishing a faith-based Fifth Column within the federal government led to a predictable asset-forfeiture Crash and Great Depression. Folks recalled the time when the Great Depression was brought on by Herbert Hoover’s prohibition enforcement policies, and the Republican Party had a problem.  Running an overdone faith-based invader of the opium regie in Vietnam failed miserably in the 2008 economic collapse. Nobody mistook McCain’s anti-choice running mate for Tonie Nathan. Nominating the leader of a prohibitionist, anti-choice mystical cult in the 2012 Great Depression also failed.

At a time when voters correctly surmised that government action by entrenched politicians had again wrecked the economy, Trump sewed up the Gee Oh Pee nomination ten months ahead of time with those 8 words: “I like it. A lot of good things.” The Libertarian Card was Trump’s implicit threat of running for office on the Libertarian Party ticket. When Trump spoke those words, God’s Own Prohibitionists suddenly remembered how Ross Perot’s spoiler votes had cost their party boodle, pelf, handouts, grants, paychecks, subsidies and jobs in the middle of a prohibitionist asset-forfeiture depression. Trump had foreshadowed the strategy WAY in advance… 16 years before closing in for the kill.

The same thing happened to President Taft, when Teddy Roosevelt swung the election to Woodrow Wilson. Nixon won in 1968 despite George Wallace taking the ku-klux vote. But Nixon’s Moral Majority Republicans adopted Dixiecrat bigotry so fast you’d think George Wallace had won every electoral vote and become Grand Goblin himself. Nixon also got the tax code changed to inject subsidies into entrenched looter party campaigns–this within 24 hours of the Libertarian Party forming.

FDR’s victory came entirely thanks to the Liberal Party of America. In a Gentlemen’s Agreement, that party faded into the background once the Democratic platform followed their example by adopting a prohibition repeal plank. Herbert Hoover’s tax-law prohibitionism had so thoroughly wrecked the economy that voters stayed away from Republican prohibitionists for five consecutive elections.

The Libertarian Party’s four million spoiler votes cast a long shadow over the three million or so popular votes that Hillary wishes had made her the “real” winner. The Democratic party wishes it had copied the Libertarian planks on relegalization and energy instead of listening to econazis and pushing for National Socialist gun laws. Threatening to make electricity illegal and pass socialist gun laws was the height of disqualifying stupidity.

In the dark and vulnerable…

Every voter who missed the opportunity to vote libertarian (and make a difference) should read Hillary Clinton’s econazi mein kampf. The thing is a sobbing, altruistic tell-all exposing the utter cluelessness of an ignorant collectivist dupe.**  Hillary made it clear she has never understood the function of the President, to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and … Commission all the Officers of the United States.” Nor has she even read or understood the platform of her own party in its entirety.

Every sane voter is normally inclined to believe whatever the democratic and republican parties say about each other’s politicians. After all, they are all looters, ideologically committed to the initiation of force.  Yet when was the last time you saw a Democrat quote verbatim and contest a plank from God’s Own Prohibitionists’ platform or vice-versa? Only thinking people read the platforms. Clueless folks read tweets about cankles, hairdos and vague allegations of email impropriety.

Most especially, voters in mi Puerto Rico querido. Puerto Rico is dominated entirely by superstitious prohibitionist republican and cynical communist democratic politicians. The Nixon anti-libertarian law shunts tax money into the island’s fake media to advertise these charlatans as “both” alternatives. Voters are aware of only one choice in elections: force women to bear unwanted children AND/OR send men with guns to kick in your door because of plant leaf products. “Both” parties are prohibitionists, but the Dems want to ban energy and God’s Own Prohibitionists want to bring back Prohibition and then some.

Superstition made boricuas susceptible to anti-nuclear propaganda. Econazi propaganda convinced the island voters that bird-killing windmills and useless solar panels can replace a power plant. Altruism caused them to elect looter politicians willing to squander 120 million borrowed dollars. That money bought the DemoGOP enough votes to bully women, kill birds and produce blackouts. Puerto Rico today is in the dark and vulnerable.  Look at the before and after outcome:

A libertarian governor and economy could soon enable a boricua power company to purchase a natural uranium Canadian CANDU reactor on reasonable terms. This would make our island the searchlight beacon of the Caribbean. Houston’s nuclear reactors were hit directly by the same hurricanes and never felt a thing. Puerto Rico more closely resembles a satrapy of the Spanish Inquisition because of energy prophesies–such as this one from the 2016 Democratic platform:

We are committed to getting 50 percent of our electricity from clean energy sources within a decade, with half a billion solar panels installed within four years and enough renewable energy to power every home in the country.

While energy is needed to fuel a modern society, government should not be subsidizing any particular form of energy. We oppose all government control of energy pricing, allocation, and production.

So if having electricity is more important than government ownership or making a pregnant girl suffer, consider voting Libertarian next election. If clear text is more important than garble, consider getting a bid from an ATA-certified Portuguese interpreter.

** I did not vote for Trump. I always vote Libertarian.
