If legalized murder and anarchism were my goal I would work against the Libertarian Party by removing 1972 choice planks and replacing them with invitations for anarchists and religious fanatics to again institutionalize extrajudicial killings–as occurred everywhere before WWI, and in These States from 1920 to 1933 under National Prohibition. Spend some time with anarchists who pose as libertarians and one thing becomes clear. Defense of individual rights by objectively-defined laws is what anarchists do NOT want. Instead of Milton Friedman or Ayn Rand–whom they promptly turned against us, beginning in 1973 these miscreants follow a boring economist with a German accent and Hitler mustache and press NOW for rule by vigilante lynch mobs. They meanwhile alienate voters by loudly calling themselves “libertarians.”(link)
As soon as our pro-choice candidate earned a 328% increase in the LP vote share, provocateurs were set afoot to add or mutilate planks calculated to alienate voters. This certainly occurred in the 1980s, and the quickest way to make it go away was to call it to the attention of conservative hate groups.(link) Progressives now seek to portray the LP as an agglomeration of girl-bullying vigilantes eager to sentence and execute physicians or midwives who dare to supply the demand for birth control. Conservatives, who made a fad of describing us as murdering anarchists, are OK with that. So, how would you thrill both adversarial halves of the kleptocracy in a 2018 platform designed to wreck the LP? Like this:

Mystical conservatives have since January 1973–when the Supreme Court copied the Libertarian Party plank into Roe v Wade–tried every trick, including murder, to bring back the full force of Comstock Laws and enactments to prevent the “race suicide” T. Roosevelt railed against in 1903. In 1974 the Prohibition Party added a plank to force women into unwanted labor–promptly copied by the GOP, while fanatics in Canada sought another kangaroo trial against Canadian physician Morgentaler, who another jury acquitted–and Canada abolished all such laws.(link)

Background to all this came the antiabortion murders, firebombings and maiming attacks. Dr David Gunn was shot in the back three times in 1993 while the killer, Michael Griffin, screamed “don’t kill any more babies!” Griffin inspired Rachelle Shelley Shannon to shoot Dr George Tiller in both arms, She was released the year the LP saw fit to add the above plank favoring vigilante murders. Dr Tiller was harried by prosecutors until successfully murdered by Scott Roeder in 2009. Paul Hill on Donahue described this as “justifiable” before proceeding to murder Dr John Britton and James Barrett in 1994. Fanatic John Salvi murdered two women and wounded five others at clinics in Massachussetts–for religious and altruistic motives–like the guy who murdered Dr Barnett Slepian in New York. Eric Rudolph, the Olympic Park Bomber, killed an officer while bombing a clinic in 1998 and was fed, abetted and sheltered for 5 years by other fanatics.(link) Warrior for the Babies Robert Dear murdered three people in Colorado the year before the pro-choice LP candidate tripled our vote share. Zealots waving signs to threaten clinics went from 21,715 in 2015 to 99,409 in 2018, but our four million votes more than covered the gap between GOP and Dem vote totals.(link)
Getting useful idiots in the LNC to endorse extrajudicial killings while interfering with the legal execution of murderers–especially mystical terrorists–is bearing the results you’d expect. In 2018 there were 3038 fanatics blocking entry to clinics, 125 acts of vandalism and 1135 cases of criminal tresspass.(link) From another angle the vigilante plank lends credibility to intellectuals of the other looter persuasion who point to libertarians and hiss “murdering anarchist whackos”. Added to this was the change in the migration plank to portray us as conniving to import mohammedan airliner hijackers. Remember all this, and donate to state and local Libertarian organizations and candidates who do not advocate suicide planks. If you have a candidate in mind, don’t be shy.
