Libertarian Example-Setting

It is time to appoint a Libertarian Justice to restore individual rights to women.

But there is a problem. In the 1972 election, with the LP running the first lady for VP ever, our platform urged the repeal of girl-bullying, Comstockist state laws that literally forced women into the involuntary labor of reproduction.(link) That plank read:

We support an end to all subsidies for childbearing built into our present laws, including all welfare plans and the provision of tax-supported services for children. We further support the repeal of all laws restricting voluntary birth control or voluntary termination of pregnancies during their first hundred days. We shall oppose all coercive measures to control population growth. The Supreme Court copied the highlighted part.

Hip young women flocked to the banner of a party nobody had heard of, yet which promulgated pro-women planks from the Human Rights Party and Buffalo Party(link). Both of these pioneer parties were strangled in the cradle by frightened supporters of the post-JFK-assassination Johnson, Nixon and George Wallace parties.(link)

Nevertheless the Libertarian party entered the breach to repeal laws against birth control, plant leaves, cacti, mushrooms and to re-legalize the acid in acid rock. How? Using spoiler votes. In this election the LP was on almost no ballots, but did get one electoral vote away from Nixon. That got the Court’s attention, which gave our spoiler votes a 10,000 to one law-changing leverage.(link) Mystical republicans and dejected Wallace voters soon infiltrated the Libertarian National Committee.(link) Then a cowardly straddle was adopted to spare the tender feelings of bullies eager to cut in line for all OTHER government subsidies.(link) Today, three out or four Libertarian Party members are NOT women.

What happened? Women cross the street to avoid the new, cowardly Libertarian party that would help mystical bigots force them into involuntary labor of reproduction in explicit violation of the Thirteenth Amendment. Remember the 13th?:

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”

That includes Texas, one of the first States in sedition to attack the Union, partly to “Christianize” the enslaved via whippings, rape and murder. Nice example there for the Libertarian Party to cozy up to. I personally am not donating a penny to any candidate not supportive of repeal of State laws forcing women into involuntary servitude, be it for race suicide theories, invisible demons, condescending altruist aggression or whatever other pretext. Nor will I support any State of County LP that sides with mystical Trumpanzees™ in a jihad against half the individuals in These United States. I am still, however, a dues-paying, card-carrying libertarian and original Libertarian Defense Caucus volunteer.(link)
