Prohibition Resolution 1913

T’was the Fortnight before Christmas, when all through the House;
not a preacher demurring, save Hobson, the louse.
His stalking of brewers for hangmen to snare;
with Dry Law Amendment brought widespread despair.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds;
as adults they’d hear the cry “off with their heads!”

History doesn’t repeat itself, but it does rhyme.–Mark Twain

So… what caused the Crash and Depression to wait until these same fanatics had passed the Five-and-Ten law and sworn in Herbert Hoover? Isn’t it about time you found out? The same brand of pseudoscience that in 1913 brought cries for men with guns to do something about alcohol, now demands they do something about the imaginary hobgoblin of misanthropic global warming.

To understand how prohibitionist initiation of force cripples the economy, see Prohibition and The Crash–Cause and Effect in 1929. For the cost of a pint you will understand how pseudoscience warped into cruel fanaticism destroys a fractional-reserve banking system and turns wealth into poverty. Live on Amazon Kindle.

Bust Beer Buyers 1929

The folly of fanaticism with guns

Shocking even to fanatics!

Ninety years ago this month Senator Morris Sheppard of fanatically dry Texas designed a law to make buying a beer a felony under the Volstead and Five and Ten laws. This is the politician who wrote the 18th amendment and pushed it with blind disregard for what criminalizing a popular commodity might again do to the U.S. economy. This p 2 Chicago Tribune clipping for October 13, 1929 saw daylight 11 days before Black Thursday.

Dr Arthur J Barton, chairman of the national executive committee of the anti-saloon league of America, tonight said he doubted the constitutionality of Senator Morris Sheppard’s proposed amendment to the prohibition law, which would make the purchaser of intoxicating liquors equally guilty with the seller.
Dr Barton said: “I do not know of any general demand among the dry organizations and leaders for such an amendment. I doubt whether such an amendment would be constitutional, and I fear that the introduction of the amendment at the present time is untimely and unfortunate.”
Dr Barton said it was his opinion that convictions under the proposed amendment would be impossible to obtain.
“A fundamental principle and a specific provision of the constitution of the United States is that no man can be forced to testify when his testimony would incriminate himself,” he said.

Asset forfeiture story same page. The U.S. Treasury gleefully confiscated and sold off automobiles found with any amount of beer or liquor, with no regard for the companies financing the sale of the cars. George Bush Jr’s faith-based fanatics did the same thing with houses in 2006 and 2007, leaving the homebuyer with no place to live and a mortgage bill to pay off. Neither Herbert Hoover nor Waffen Bush had any clue how much money their prohibitionist looting would cause to vanish from the fractional-reserve banks and brokerage firms.

Enforcement murderers protected by law, same page. Senator Millard Tydings accused the feds of covering up 51 murders committed by dry killers during violent prohibition enforcement.  This is the same sort of thing practiced today on account of enjoyable plant leaves, and the amount of money involved is likely to be a neat fraction of the Gross National Product. But just as there was a Liberal Party in 1930, there is a Libertarian Party in 2019. Our repeal plank sends a loud and unmistakable message to Washington

Dry Dixieland 1913

Government Gunmen for God and Good

We know best how to run your life

Long before Ayn Rand drafted the Non-Aggression Pledge, white Dixie Democrats were hard at work collecting signatures on a pro-life promise to point loaded guns at people. This they regarded as their deontological duty seven years before Christian National Socialism was even invented, and six years before George Wallace was born.

Godliness at Gunpoint!

The Pro-Aggression Pledge of Their Neighbors’ Keepers

Within a year, the Harrison Tax Act would reach out with censorship of advertising, just as the same mentality manages to do today. These holy warriors for the Comstock laws got their power in many states before the Prohibition Amendment brought forth the Crash and Great Depression.

Naturally prohibitionists were surprised, and of course they seek to banish the thought or suggestion that sending government gunmen into banks and brokerages to confiscate accounts could possibly cause money to be withdrawn into hoarding until the fractional-reserve currency system collapsed into an economic black hole. The very suggestion elicits puzzlement that such a thought could be seriously entertained. But the thought is indeed entertaining and will enlighten your understanding of economics and how economics applies to today’s prohibitionism.

For more on how bipartisan prohibitionism crushed the U.S. economy and brought on the Great Depression, why not download Prohibition and The Crash–Cause and Effect in 1929? Dem Grrrlz anti-Nuclear?

So a female candidate running on the (get this!) Democratic/CPUSA ticket is sounding all pro-defense? Easy! Just pretend the Democratic Party’s Union of Soviet States of Amerika platform never existed, and perish the thought of Misanthropic Global Warming, Carbon Taxes, banning low-pressure freon, and uninspected entry of foreign nationals and infected cattle across U.S. borders.

Still, it is a step up from Lolita Ocasional Cortex and other looter-agenda Dems angling for a piece of the federal payroll. Here’s hoping she loses by just a few LP spoiler votes to some skanky pro-energy Republican fascist who wants Dixiecrats with guns to rewrite the first three words of the Fourteenth Amendment.

Looter politicians only learn manners when defeated by Libertarian spoiler votes. Think of it as evolution in action.

These are the same spoiler votes that cause Republican National Socialists to off-handedly refer to libertarian candidates as (bomb-throwing communist) anarchists while gorging on Nixon anti-Libertarian Law subsidies buying media hype for their campaigns. LP spoiler votes also cause Republican politicians to defect to the LP and repeal the party’s cruel and bigoted laws.

Herbert Hoover also had ku-klux and dry Sharia support in 1932, and Prohibition Party radio evangelists worshipped Dry Hope Hoover’s footprints. Find out how the Liberal Party of 1930 wrote the 1931 legalize beer plank the Dems rode to five (05) successive victories while crushing Christian National Socialism in Germany. The Britannica Article labeled “Liberal Party, America” is an example of facile lying. Like the rewriting of Sumner’s “The Forgotten Man” into FDR’s paean for Soviet collectivism to blot out the original, the anonymous (I’d be ashamed too) Britannica article completely ignores reality and invents whatever fiction can be cold-decked into the game to further altruist totalitarianism. Small wonder the limey looter intelligentzia has to this day blocked realization of the July 2016 Brexit vote. If Americans were as easily hoodwinked, the current president would still be awaiting inauguration 35 months after being elected against adverse odds on Paddypower!

Lest We Forget

Too late, baby

86% 2 yrs after Bush faith-based asset forfeiture wrecked the economy!

Every time Sharia Law Republicans wreck the economy in their endless wars on Beer, The Demon Rum, or Enjoyable Plant Leaves, there’s a recession, unemployment, and memory loss. On March 4, 1933 not a single Republican outside of the Chicago Tribune could remember the Jones 5&10 law, or Mabel Willebrandt’s use of the communist income tax to jail Beer Barons and confiscate property, plant & equipment along with bank and brokerage accounts. The commercial banks financing docks, cargo ships, radio station, warehouses and logistics at Atlantic Highlands were lost down a memory hole along with how Bert Hoover’s Moratorium on Brains helped National Socialism gain power in Germany.

The Prohibition party soldiered on, urging shoot-first prohibitionism as what Christ would be doing. Their Creation Pseudoscientists insisted that Jesus had turned raisins, not water, into wine, as GOP ward heelers tried their best to forget THEM as Alf Landon, Wendell Willkie, Thomas Dewey, then Dewey again struggled to revive interest in chain gangs, bank account confiscation and the gunning down of motorists by dry killers in the interest of Christian purity.

Finally the Ike/Nixon ticket was elected and now you now know who Ike was talking about when he said “military-industrial complex.” Silent Majority brownshirts, Moral Majority blackshirts, Operation Intercept, market crashes, and oil crises. Non-poisonous LSD was declared dangerous and Agent Orange safe by government drug bureaucracies.

A couple of dead Kennedys later Nixon pulled the brass ring and won again after a bullet-riddled George Wallace threw in the towel and quit blocking kids from entering schools. History shows us that Republicans who win a second term promptly push the Prohibition Party planks calling for police to shoot people over plant leaves, then use those same guns to threaten and intimidate physicians with female clients.

History also shows us that just as Bryanist and Prohibitionist spoiler votes brought the income tax and Prohibition amendments, Libertarian spoiler votes are undoing past experiments with National Socialism. Women knelt in front of saloons to urge prohibition. Realizing their error, VOTING women in 1932 cast ballots for the Liberal Party repeal plank and ended most of the initiation of force accelerating the Depression.  Now is a good time to take a new pledge:

I certify that I oppose the initiation of force to achieve political or social goals.

Smearing Libertarians

bomb-throwing communist anarchist terrorist REPEAT

Constant repetition: anarchists, bomb-hurling anarchists

Republican journalist James Kilpatrick was among the first to gain media subsidies via the Nixon anti-Libertarian law for this piece. Consistent with the Prohibition Party and George Wallace Dixiecrats coalition the GOP was reduced to after the Kennedy assassinations, the kleptocracy’s pet journalist called us anarchists. Meanwhile the GOP platform committee sweated to draft force Amendments to overturn Roe v Wade and change the meaning of the first three words of the 14th Amendment: All persons born…

Here is Kilpatrick with The Gipper, the day after Federal plant leaf prohibitionist policies and H.R. 3226 did for hippies what the Kristallnacht laws did for Jewish shopkeepers. Money “Laundering” as pretext for asset forfeiture was next on Congress’ agenda, as Veterans Administration personnel were being fired in the Just Say No blood purity pogrom.

In less than a month this ramp-up of prohibitionist fanaticism would cause the stock market to drop 108 points in a day, cost investors half a trillion dollars, and usher in another Great Depression.

For more on how the initiation of force wielded by mystical fanaticism wrecked the economy in the Herbert Hoover Administration, order Prohibition and The Crash–Cause and Effect in 1929 in Amazon Kindle format. SHOOTING BEER, 1929

Before Atlas Shrugged

One block from Medical Marijuana Services

Lots of time, money and effort have gone into fabricating a version of American purged of many historical associations with the Prohibition Era. Everyday expressions clearly understood at the time have been skillfully elided, their replacements having nothing to do with economic aspects of Altruism’s Noble Experiment.

Entire books have been written since 1929, whose main discernible purpose is to obliterate expressions that might lead a reader to doubt official Depression dogma. Any catechism so flimsily thrown together from circular arguments and Newspeak contrivances needs all the shoring-up it can get. Beer-shooting is one of many examples of how the American language has been rectified by the Inner Party Records Department.

To a typical tipsy oaf, beer-shooting is a process of puncturing the bottom of a beer can, sucking on the puncture, then popping the top so that air shoots in and beer jets down into slobbering jaws. But to America’s most famously admired and despised former federal prosecutor, Mabel Walker Willebrandt, beer shooting was an economic process.

Al Capone was a typical organizer of beer shooting. Eliot Ness described how the Capone brothers would rent a brewery, fill its vats with “the magic wort” from another, then add yeast and corn sugar. The resulting real beer was then packaged and the barrels and bottles “shot”–that is, quickly distributed to scattered hiding-places pending delivery to speakeasies and pool halls. Do not confuse shot beer with needled beer–alcohol-free beer with Everclear, and sometimes ether, added to make it potable.

Willebrandt described the process in her August 12, 1929 installment of The Inside of Prohibition syndicated in 22 U.S. Newspapers. Fly-by-night operations “fostered by politicians” made real beer and according to a Philadelphia “beer racketeer” the product was “shot” out to “drops” located about the community. Philadelphia’s “fastest beer shooter” would be amazed to see teevee-addled drunks sucking on cans described “beer shooters.”

Interestingly enough, this installment, titled The Beer Leak, hit the stands 21 days before the slopes of stock market charts changed from increasing to decreasing. Revealed Depression Dogma struggles mightily to efface and evade all mention of possible connections between Willebrandt’s syndicated column, the Crash, and The Great Depression which investors could already discern on the horizon as of September 2, 1929.

For a complete and exhaustive explanation of the facts of everyday reality that caused the Stock Market Crash and Depression, download Prohibition and The Crash–Cause and Effect in 1929.
