Original Libertarian Party Platform

Including the plank to repeal laws banning abortion

Adopted unanimously by the delegates to the first national convention of the Libertarian Party, on June 17, 1972.

We, the members of the Libertarian Party, challenge the cult of the omnipotent state, and defend the rights of the individual.

We hold that each individual has the right to exercise sole dominion over his own life, and has the right to live his life in whatever manner he chooses, so long as he does not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live their lives in whatever manner they choose.

Governments throughout history have regularly operated on the opposite principle, that the State has the right to dispose of the lives of individuals and the fruits of their labor. Even within the United States, all political parties other than our own grant to government the right to regulate the life of the individual and seize the fruits of his labor without his consent.

We, on the contrary, deny the right of any government to do these things, and hold that the sole function of government is the protection of the rights of each individual: namely (1) the right to life — and accordingly we support laws prohibiting the initiation of physical force against others; (2) the right to liberty of speech and action — and accordingly we oppose all attempts by government to abridge the freedom of speech and press, as well as government censorship in any form; and (3) the right to property — and accordingly we oppose all government interference with private property, such as confiscation, nationalization, and eminent domain, and support laws which prohibit robbery, trespass, fraud and misrepresentation.

Since government has only one legitimate function, the protection of individual rights, we oppose all interference by government in the areas of voluntary and contractual relations among individuals. Men should not be forced to sacrifice their lives and property for the benefit of others. They should be left free by government to deal with one another as free traders on a free market; and the resultant economic system, the only one compatible with the protection of man’s rights, is laissez-faire capitalism.

The protection of individual rights is the only proper purpose of government. No conflict exists between civil order and individual rights. Both concepts are based on the same fundamental principle: that no individual, group, or government may initiate force against any other individual, group, or government. Government is instituted to protect individual rights. Government is constitutionally limited so as to prevent the infringement of individual rights by the government itself.

We hold that no action which does not infringe the rights of others can properly be termed a crime. We favor the repeal of all laws creating “crimes without victims” now incorporated in Federal, state and local laws — such as laws on voluntary sexual relations, drug use, gambling, and attempted suicide. We support impartial and consistent enforcement of laws designed to protect individual rights — regardless of the motivation for which these laws may be violated.

Due Process for Criminally Accused

Until such time as a person is proved guilty of a crime, that person should be accorded all possible respect for his individual rights. We are thus opposed to reduction of present safeguards for the rights of the criminally accused. Specifically, we are opposed to preventive detention, so-called “no-knock laws” and all other similar measures which threaten existing rights. We further pledge to do all possible to give life to the Sixth Amendment’s guarantee of a speedy trial, and shall work for appropriate legislation to this end. We support full restitution for all loss suffered by persons arrested, indicted, imprisoned, tried, or otherwise injured in the course of criminal proceedings against them which do not result in their conviction. We look ultimately to the voluntary funding of this restitution.

Freedom of Speech and The Press

We pledge to oppose all forms of censorship, whatever the medium involved. Recent events have demonstrated that the already precarious First Amendment rights of the broadcasting industry are becoming still more precarious. Regulation of broadcasting can no longer be tolerated. We shall support legislation to repeal the Federal Communications Act, and to provide for private ownership of broadcasting rights, thus giving broadcasting First Amendment parity with other communications media. We support repeal of pornography laws.

Protection of Privacy

Electronic and other covert government surveillance of citizens should be restricted to activity which can be shown beforehand, under high, clearly defined standards of probable cause, to be criminal and to present immediate and grave danger to other citizens. The National Census and other government compilations of data on citizens should be conducted on a strictly voluntary basis.

The Right to Keep and Bear Arms

In recognition of the fact that the individual is his own last source of self-defense, the authors of the Constitution guaranteed, in the Second Amendment, the right of the people to keep and bear arms. This reasoning remains valid today. We pledge to uphold that guarantee. We oppose compulsory arms registration.

Volunteer Army

We oppose the draft (Selective Service), believing that the use of force to require individuals to serve in the armed forces or anywhere else is a violation of their rights, and that a well-paid volunteer army is a more effective means of national defense than the involuntary servitude exemplified by the draft. We recommend a complete review and possible reform of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, to guarantee effective and equal protection of rights under the law to all members of the U.S. armed forces, and to promote thereby the morale, dignity, and sense of justice within the military which are indispensable to its efficient and effective operation. We further pledge to work for a declaration of unconditional amnesty for all who have been convicted of, or who now stand accused of, draft evasion and for all military deserters who were draftees.

Property Rights

We hold that property rights are individual rights and, as such, are entitled to the same respect and protection as all other individual rights. We further hold that the owner of property has the full right to control, use, dispose of, or in any manner enjoy his property without interference, until and unless the exercise of his control infringes the valid rights of others. We shall thus oppose restrictions upon the use of property which do not have as their sole end the protection of valid rights.

Unions and Collective Bargaining

We support the right of free men to voluntarily associate in, or to establish, labor unions. We support the concept that an employer may recognize a union as the collective bargaining agent of some or all of his employees. We oppose governmental interference in bargaining, such as compulsory arbitration or the obligation to bargain. We demand that the National Labor Relations Act be repealed. We recognize voluntary contracts between employers and labor unions as being legally and morally binding on the parties to such contracts.

Because each person has the right to offer his goods and services to others on the free market, and because government interference can only harm such free activity, we oppose all intervention by government into the area of economics. The only proper role of government in the economic realm is to protect property rights, adjudicate disputes and protect contracts, and provide a legal framework in which voluntary trade is protected. All efforts by government to redistribute wealth, or to control or manage trade, are improper in a free society.

We favor the establishment of a sound money system. We thus support the private ownership of gold, and demand repeal of all legal tender laws.

The Economy

Government intervention in the economy imperils both the material prosperity and personal freedom of every American. We therefore support the following specific immediate reforms:

(a) reduction of both taxes and government spending;

(b) an end to deficit budgets;

(c) a halt to inflationary monetary policies, and elimination, with all deliberate speed, of the Federal Reserve System;

(d) the removal of all governmental impediments to free trade — including the repeal of the National Labor Relations Act, the Interstate Commerce Act, all antitrust laws, and the abolition of the Department of Agriculture, as the most pressing and critical impediments;

(e) and the repeal of all controls on wages, prices, rents, profits, production, and interest rates.

In order to achieve a free economy in which government victimizes no one for the benefit of anyone else, we oppose all government subsidies to business, labor, education, agriculture, science, the arts, or any other special interests. Those who have entered into these activities with promises of government subsidy will be forewarned by being given a cutoff date beyond which all government aid to their enterprise will be terminated. Relief or exemption from involuntary taxation shall not be considered a subsidy.

Tariffs and Quotas

Like subsidies, tariffs and quotas serve only to give special treatment to favored interests and to diminish the welfare of other citizens. We therefore support abolition of all tariffs and quotas as well as the Tariff Commission and the Customs Court.

Interim Reforms

In order to effect our long-range goals, we recommend, among others, the following interim measures: the adoption of the Liberty Amendment, and provision for greater use of the referendum for reducing or repealing taxes.

Long-Range Goals

Since we believe that every man is entitled to keep the fruits of his labor, we are opposed to all government activity which consists of the forcible collection money or goods from citizens in violation of their individual rights. Specifically, we support the eventual repeal of all taxation. We support a system of voluntary fees for services rendered as a method for financing government in a free society.

Government intervention in current problems, such as crime, pollution, defraud of consumers, health problems, overpopulation, decaying cities, and poverty, is properly limited to protection of individual rights. In those areas where individual rights or voluntary relations are not involved, we support an immediate reduction of government’s present role, and ultimately, a total withdrawal of government intervention, together with the establishment of a legal framework in which private, voluntary solutions to these problems can be developed and implemented.

We support the development of an objective system defining individual property rights to air and water. We hold that ambiguities in the area of these rights (e.g. concepts such as “public property”) are a primary cause of our deteriorating environment. Whereas we maintain that no one has the right to violate the legitimate property rights of others by pollution, we shall strenuously oppose all attempts to transform the defense of such rights into any restriction of the efforts of individuals to advance technology, to expand production, or to use their property peacefully.

Consumer Protection

We shall support strong and effective laws against fraud and misrepresentation. We shall oppose, however, that present and prospective so-called “consumer-protection” legislation which infringes upon voluntary trade.

We support an end to all subsidies for childbearing built into our present laws, including all welfare plans and the provision of tax-supported services for children. We further support the repeal of all laws restricting voluntary birth control or voluntary termination of pregnancies during their first hundred days. We shall oppose all coercive measures to control population growth.

We support the repeal of all compulsory education laws, and an end to government operation, regulation, and subsidy of schools. We call for an immediate end of compulsory busing.

Poverty and Unemployment

We support repeal of all laws which impede the ability of any person to find employment — including, but not limited to, minimum wage laws, so-called “protective” labor legislation for women and children, governmental restrictions on the establishment of private day-care centers, the National Labor Relations Act, and licensing requirements. We oppose all government welfare and relief projects and “aid to the poor” programs, inasmuch as they are not within the proper role of government, and do contribute to unemployment. All aid to the poor should come from private sources.

The principles which guide a legitimate government in its relationships with other governments are the same as those which guide relationships among individuals and relationships between individuals and governments. It must protect itself and its citizens against the initiation of force from other nations. While we recognize the existence of totalitarian governments, we do not recognize them as legitimate governments. We will grant them no moral sanction. We will not deal with them as if they were proper governments. To do so is to ignore the rights of their victims and rob those victims of the knowledge that we know they have been wronged.

Foreign Aid

We support an end to the Federal foreign aid program.

Ownership in Unclaimed Property

We pledge to oppose recognition of claims by fiat, by nations or international bodies, of presently unclaimed property, such as the ocean floor and planetary bodies. We urge the development of objective standards for recognizing claims of ownership in such property.

Currency Exchange Rates

We pledge to oppose all governmental attempts to peg or regulate currency exchange rates. International trade can truly be free only when currency exchange rates reflect the free-market value of respective currencies.

Military Alliances

The United States should abandon its attempts to act as policeman for the world, and should enter into alliances only with countries whose continued free existence is vital to the protection of the freedom of all American citizens. Under such an alliance, the United States may offer the protection of its nuclear umbrella, but our allies would provide their own conventional defense capabilities. We should in particular disengage from any present alliances which include despotic governments.

Military Capability

We shall support the maintenance of a sufficient military establishment to defend the United States against aggression. We should have a sufficient nuclear capacity to convince any potential aggressor that it cannot hope to survive a first strike against the United States. But, as our foreign commitments are reduced, and as our allies assume their share of the burden of providing a conventional war capability, we should be able to reduce the size of our conventional defense, and thus reduce the overall cost and size of our total defense establishment.

Diplomatic Recognition

The United States should establish a scheme of recognition consistent with the principles of a free society, the primary principle being that, while individuals everywhere in the world have unalienable rights, governments which enslave individuals have no legitimacy whatsoever.

We shall support recognition of the right to secede. Political units or areas which do secede should be recognized by the United States as independent political entities where: (1) secession is supported by a majority within the political unit, (2) the majority does not attempt suppression of the dissenting minority, and (3) the government of the new entity is at least as compatible with human freedom as that from which it seceded.

The United Nations

We support withdrawal of the United States from the United Nations. We further support a Constitutional Amendment designed to prohibit the United States from entering into any treaty under which it relinquishes any portion of its sovereignty.

Ominous GOP Parallels

Bar chart of membership from Communist party website w/ sevenfold increase

Republican policies after passage of the Prohibition Amendment arguably increased Communist Party membership among Americans. CP membership roughly tripled in 1920-25, when the first prohibition recession hit, then increased sevenfold after The Great Depression resulted from prohibitionist property confiscation. The acceleration was well under weigh before FDR won using the Liberal Party repeal plank.(link)

Nixon was elected before Roe v Wade, when world population was half what it is now

You can see from this and other prison crowding graphs that Nixon’s mania for Republican prohibitionism increased prison populations sevenfold, from 200,000 to 1,600,000. Most of the increase were young, black and latino users of harmless enjoyables such as cannabis, mescaline, LSD, mushrooms and plant leaf extracts. None of them sought to harm anyone (absence of mens rea) and all of them sought only their own happiness. The equivocation of “vices” into “crimes” is fallacious. Prohibitionism spits in the face of free-market liberalism and laissez-faire economic theory. It replaces voluntary trade with the promiscuous abuse of violent and deadly force against those who neither defraud nor coerce others.(link)

China tried this sort of violence when Britain used opium exports to finance its conquest and subjugation of India. The resulting wars, revolutions and violence had by the time of our Civil War killed off a Chinese population roughly equal to everyone living in the U.S.. The Hague antiopium Convention interfered with exploitation by Britain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria and Germany of the Balkans as source and their African and Asian colonies as dumping grounds for refined opiates. WW1 resulted. The Armistices, Versailles Treaty and later Opium Conventions combined with alcohol prohibitionism to add the USA to the export markets for addictive narcotics.

Herbert Hoover’s Moratorium (on brains and on German heroin) wrecked the German economy and got pharma cartels to back Hitler’s belligerent Socialism so that WW2 followed as logically from “A Planned Economy on a World Scale” as WW1 did from seizure of Germany’s “chemical drugs” as reparations while strangling their legality.(link) Germany and Japan, smelling a communist plot, withdrew from the League of Nations, used submarines to run drugs past prohibitionist and tariff blockades and made enough money doing it to wreck much of the planet’s wealth and progress fighting for those markets. Prohibitionist China is a dictatorship nobody wants to live in.

The most wasteful thing anyone can do is waste a vote on either half of the prohibitionist Kleptocracy.(link) Whenever they lose, they look at the millions of votes cast for Libertarian platform policies. Those expensive regrets are the only way for Republicans to break free of book-burning bigots and Democrats to let go of totalitarian looter-state policies as a utopian vision.

Libertarian vote history

Here is a record of how many law-changing spoiler votes the Libertarian Party earned in presidential campaign years and how the rate of change varied with platform changes. For the political background, see Canadian Liberals and American Libertarians.(Link)

Column 4, slope, is what The Kleptocracy watches with apprehension.

Our first two platforms netted us 176,321 votes so the rate of increase slope was 46, an angle of 88 degrees over those 4 years. To you a change from 0% to 0.2% of the vote may look like small potatoes. But to entrenched Kleptocracy party strategy planners, that graphs as a line that is only 2 degrees from straight up, displaying in stark relief increasing voting in opposition to entrenched policies of coercive prohibitionism, entanglement in colonial wars, tax gouging and the relentless increase in transfer payments from producers to non-producers. To them this was a direct threat to the power that, let’s face it, is the Political State’s capacity to coerce numerous people to death per unit of time.(Link)

The LP platform was changed in 1980. Individual rights (including women) were replaced by collectivized “women’s rights.” Mystical conservatives, with whoops of joy, promptly depicted half of all voters as a “subsidized” minority, thanks to mixed-economy medical cartel legislation subsidizing testicular cancer treatment as healthcare, but pregnancy termination as handouts. Attempts to pass an Equal (not individual) Rights Amendment failed, as have all 12 Republican abortion prohibition Amendment attempts so far. Much more shocking was the anarchist contention that child molesting ought to be legal, and the suicidal addition of THAT idiocy to the Libertarian platform. The 1984 platform was worse, insisting that child molesting be enshrined as a right! (Link) Libertarian votes changed from increasing to decreasing at a 45º angle downward and we lost ballot access in 12 states. This was a huge win for the looter Kleptocracy.

Anarchists fought tooth and nail to keep child molesting planks in the platform as republican infiltrators struggled to convert all women into the role of reproductive chattel enforceable against slave women before the 13th and 14th Amendments. Meanwhile the Reagan-Biden-Bush Dreikaiserbund exported prohibition laws wrecking Latin American economies and inducing hordes of refugees to flee to America. Anarchists seen their chance to put borderless communist anarchism into the platform and republicans loudly and joyfully pointed this out to voters while jacking up drug laws as a pretext for property confiscation.(Link) “Good-faith” republican Sharia law was smuggled into the LP platform to legitimize singling out pregnant women and robbing them of the taxes they’d paid into unenumerated government healthcare rackets. Asset-forfeiture confiscation of homes made mortgage-backed derivatives worthless and the Bush republicans wrecked the entire economy in 2008.

Army of God terrorism seeks to infiltrate the LP

Anarchist communist infiltration added to the 2020 platform language insisting on the uninspected importation of actual terrorists in addition to streaming hordes of unskilled, illiterate economic refugees fleeing Reagan-Biden-Bush-Bush-sponsored caudillo dictatorships.(Link) The most recent addition to the libertarian platform is reminiscent of girl-bullying Army of God vigilantes who undertook to murder physicians after God suggested they administer the death sentence. (Link) As soon as we restore the original plank defending individual women from threats of coercion and armed violence, we will have earned that 12% per year increase in vote share both communo-fascist wings of the Kleptocracy seek to deny us as women voters finally return to the Libertarian Party.

Book Censors

Big Bill Thompson championed book banning in 1927

Beer was a deadly narcotic Congress wanted banned, and the Sedition and Espionage acts had set a further example urging coercion and violence in defense of belligerent hubris. So Republican Mayor Thompson was not all that different from other politicians of his time–or ours.(link)

Drink was once the “assassin of youth”; nowadays vice is still equivocated with crime by burners of books and Beatles albums.(link)

Nowadays republicans have managed to alienate the women’s vote the way they did in 1929. Before Prohibition, women weren’t allowed in saloons except through the “ladies’ entrance.” But illegal speakeasies were under no such regulation, and men had a hard time finding a place at the bar when Pauline Sabine was rallying for Repeal of the 18th Amendment.(link) Texas has enacted a Fugitive Slave Act enlisting bounty hunters in efforts to coerce women into involuntary labor of reproduction. This raises the hope voters may again retaliate as they did from 1932 to 1952, and open a vacancy for the libertarian party to replace God’s Own Prohibitionists the way that leaking hulk once replaced the Whigs.

Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Linseed Graham Cracker, DeSantis and Klan Mom Marjorie Greene Teeth represent most of what has been wrong with one geriatric half of the Kleptocracy for the past century. But Bernie and Drug Czarist Biden are no less appalling in their doddering saturation with pseudoscience. America, the bastion of reason before prohibitionism, has become a clown act even compared to Europe and Asia, which have hardly changed at all, yet gain by comparison lately. (link)

Good reading: In Rabi, Scientist & Citizen, John Rigden accidentally relates how even the most brilliant European scientists failed to escape Old World ruts. Despite Nobel-prize achievements in physics and weapons design, Rabi–like Panovsky, Szilard and too many others–still placed hope in new versions of the Molotov-Ribbentrop agreement that knifed Poland in twain for Hitler and Stalin, then segued seamlessly into a World War. Only our Second Amendment, baffling as it is to Old World thinkers, has saved us from such endless loops.(link)

Texas Libertarian-impersonators

Adding anarchism and girl-bullying

What now cross-dresses as a libertarian party in Texas is hosting a… a what? They can’t call it a debate, because that would be competitive and anti-social. America’s leading scientist-impersonator, Michael Mann, refuses to debate his soothsaying of Misanthropic Global Warmunism on grounds a debate would challenge his Papal Infallibility. The Mystical Conservative Supreme Court refused to intercede in Mann’s suit against National Review, which, following the mystical Republican tactic of puritanical screeching, described him as “the Jerry Sandusky of climate science, except that instead of molesting children, he has molested and tortured data.” Here is an example of what, to Mann, is an honest chart of untampered-with thermometer readings:

Past data as rectified by the Ministry of Truth (link)

The participants in this non-debate are a communist anarchist and a mystical Republican Party politician who believes men with guns must force women to carry pregnancies through involuntary labor and that Global Warmunism is not a religion, Petition Project scientists to the contrary notwithstanding.(Joe) (Scientists)

This particular communist anarchist [there is no other kind] (link), is the same “Spike” who respectfully spat on the damaged Libertarian platform of 2020 and got the 5th Column anarchist VP nomination to wreck antichoice Jo Jorgensen’s chances of attracting any voters male or female.(link) Want graphic proof? Here is how the anarchist+antichoice package deal came in dead last in Travis County, Texas, home of Roe v Wade, the U. of Texas, The Texas Statehouse & Governor’s Mansion and the Travis County Libertarian Party:

Absolute last place, thanks to Jeremy the anarchist!

Just as voters rejected Jeremy “Spike” on the ballots, there are grounds for sitting out this suicidal non-event to invest instead in a donation to the Dallas County LP or to a deserving candidate like Ted Brown or Art Dibianca (if you can get him to accept a donation).

Good reading: Roosevelt’s Secret War, by Joseph E Persico. The book is astounding and the author is every bit the prototype for several John Malkovich roles.(link)

Infiltrator Camouflage

parasite mimesis

Passionfruit caterpillars mimic tendrils to escape detection while ruining crop

Pests, predators, parasites and infiltrators are as quick as their hosts and prey to adapt appearance to purposes. The butterfly caterpillars in the photo are adapted to prey on passionfruit, and their dimensions and coloration mimic passion fruit tendrils. This works among humans as well. Spies, undercover agents, con artists, snipers and even journalists resort to cross-dressing and disguises to facilitate their purposes.

Communism with training wheels

Fabian Society Socialism

Laws against trade and production engender black markets. When the Libertarian Party was first being established, prohibition agents had for years been cross-dressing as acidheads to infiltrate the hippie community for confiscation, arrests and asset forfeiture seizures. These seizures have since 1920 caused liquidity crises, fractional-reserve banking panics, recessions and depressions. Burglars and bank robbers wear masks for the exact same purposes, but with differing voter approval. What better camouflage for men attracted to young boys than a priest’s robe? And how for over a century have fascist and anarcho-communist fifth columnists infiltrated political parties to alter their platforms and influence choice of candidates? Subtly. This is ordinary newspaper material, no exotic imaginings.(link

Smuggling Communist Manifesto plank 2 into the 16th Amendment of the Constitution was accomplished through camouflage and misdirection. Instead of a communist party openly declaring its intent, post-Reconstruction Granger movements were infiltrated and exploited by a soi-disant Greenback Party whose 1880 platform demanded the exact same income tax as the communists, and won. They did not get their candidate elected. That was never their goal. With less than 3% of the vote on average they got the enslaving tentacle of collectivist coercion wrapped around the Constitution to protect the illegal capitation tax from the Supreme Court meddling that repealed such a tax during the Depression of 1895. By their lights, THAT was winning.(link)

The Libertarian Party is the only ideological enemy of totalitarian collectivist imperialism. Communist dictators control trillions of dollars, and repressive, mixed-economy autocracies (including our own Kleptocracy-dominated government) control additional trillions. Americans are but 5% of the world population; the other 95% favor even more coercion than our own entrenched looter parties. Only 55% of voting age Americans bother to vote, and The Kleptocracy has for years been losing adherents.

Foreign autocracies and native bureaucracies can afford to back whack-job activists unable to infiltrate competent looter parties, and to groom their own infiltrators, make selective donations, talk their way onto the platform committee or inveigle us into backing dead-end candidates. And they would be fools not to, for it is the cheapest method of obstruction out there.

We should certainly expect no less. The federal government doesn’t. Federal employees piss into sample cups and have their hair clipped over plant leaves. Federal employees too libertarian to submit to such indignities were fired back in 1987. Notices to that effect coincided with a major stock market crash as Biden and Reagan-Bush pushed mandatory minimums and asset forfeiture laws through Congress, amid grandstanding demands for death sentence execution of prohibition violators. The Kleptocracy uses security clearances for all sorts of reasons.

There are no libertarian socialists

Tarl gives a good presentation on how impersonators try to pass themself off as libertarians. Face it, looters with guns sounded cool to have-nots back in the 1850s. Anarchist communists began blowing stuff up and killing people in the 1880s. Finally in the 1920s the world’s first communist socialist dictatorship instantly became a bankrupt police state and resorted to counterfeiting, looting and genocide to nationalize grain and sell it for hard currency. (link)

By 1933 Nationalsocialist Germany was pushing the Christian version of the same thing, complete with eugenic death camps to wipe out innate selfishness and make the world safe for blonde altruism. Honest people tend naturally to cross the street to avoid all forms of socialism. Appeals to mysticism and eugenics have weakened since Howell’s “Traveler from Altruria” exploited them as the entering wedge for the looter totalitarianism that briefly dominated pre-nuclear Germany. (link)

Even so, the self-deception induced by altruism leads many–even some who can actually read and write–to aid, abet, cover-up for and assist these parasitical political ideologies in the only way that works anymore: hyphenating them onto other kinds of ideas the way lampreys fasten onto a normal fish. Hence such aberrations as “democratic” socialism, liberal-socialists, social-progressives, right-wing socialism, “left” libertarianism and “anarcho-capitalism”.

Murdering communist backstabbers

Anarcho-communist “friends” of the LP

The only mimesis that is really damaging is the grafting of coercive parasitism–even if in name only–onto the individualist nonaggression that embodies the Libertarian Party. Communist altruist anarchism has failed. It failed when cash voting named the derailed Austin convention TANSTAAFL instead of suicide-vest Ancapistan. But the message our looter adversaries take home from this failure of international Communism is that Christian National Socialism is now winning the battle for looter control of the LP. To them it’s either-or–one form of aggression or the other.

Squeeze out pups, bitches!

Ceaușescu meeting with The Antichoice

We are about to discover if Jo Jorgensen is a Phyllis Schlafly infiltrated into our party. Now would be a good time to delete all pederasty, secessionist and uninspected entry language from the platform and replace it with endorsement of an Equal Rights Amendment to ensure that women are not targeted for special coercion in another Republican+Dixiecrat eugenicist War on Individual Rights. Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu tried that, and Mitt, McCain and Sarah Palin tried it again. (link)

Renazification of Texas

Demokratie im Amerika

Texas Denazification poster extolling democracy to educate POWs during WW2

Texas was where many National Socialist and Japanese collectivist prisoners were penned up for reeducation in the virtues of democracy at Huntsville and Crystal City. Democracy in Germany ended 4 years and 19 days after Republican candidate Herbert Clark Hoover was sworn in to enforce the new Five and Ten law making beer a shoot-first felony. Hoover sought to stop Germany from exploiting American Prohibition by dumping heroin Stateside at inflated prices, while at the same time strengthening the very prohibitionism that exacerbated the demand for narcotics. Today’s Republicans continue to fill prisons using victimless “crime” laws against plant leaves as a pretext for asset-forfeiture looting. These violent laws the Libertarian Party seeks to repeal.

The Manly Sullivan decision, in which our Suprema Corte empowered the dry autocracy to use Prohibition and tax laws for asset forfeiture, coincided with the crash and decline of Germany’s stock market. National Socialist candidates immediately began getting more votes as the German economy contracted in a spasm that 16th day of May, 1927. As nazi vote share rapidly increased, Republican Herbert Hoover’s 1931 standstill Moratorium assisted German rearmament by freezing all repayments of war loans and reparations. The U.S. economy continued its collapse until, by March 3, 1933, every bank in the nation had closed its doors prior to FDR’s order that they shut down. Twenty days later Hitler’s nationalsocialists began shutting down all opposition parties just as today’s Republicans are trying to shut down the Libertarian Party in Texas by barring us from ballot access.

The Republic of Texas welcomed German immigrants in 1840. Economic collapse in countries dependent on dumping opiates in China began when the Chinese deported British dope traders at Canton. The U.S. economy slumped along with Big Pharma countries as British capital was withdrawn to build up the Royal Navy for the Opium Wars of 1840 and 1857. Impoverished Germans poured into Texas and built the Germanic towns of New Braunfels, Brandenburg and many others as the Adelsverein assisted their migration. By 1930 Germans amounted to 36% of the Texas population. During WW2 another 380,000 were brought in as POWs before defeat, Nuremberg war crimes trials, hangings, prison terms and denazification.

A is A

German voters were offered two kinds of looters, then… one.

So today the Republican party, closely patterned after the National Socialist platform of 1920, has realized that despite federal election campaign subsidies obtained through Nixon’s Anti-Libertarian Law, its more obnoxious candidates are being pole-axed by Libertarian spoiler votes. Libertarians are against the resort to violence and coercion. American voters gave the LP swing-vote control over 13 of the 15 states with the most independent voters. We earned more votes than the difference between the Trump and Hillary campaigns. Texas legislators now propose the same sort of Socialist v. Nationalsocialist “elections” that brought young Germans to Texas in chains in 1943.

Rather than allow voters the redress they seek at the ballot box, the Gee-Oh-Pee panders to prohibitionist, race-suicide Dixiecrats whose spoiler votes it coveted in 1968. I appeal to Texans of German, Jewish, Mexican, Caribbean and Brazilian descent to contact the State Legislature in defense of democracy before Positive Christianity fanatics again establish a One-Party Dictatorship.

Here’s who you need to contact:

Rep. Joe Moody – 512-463-0728

Rep. Joe Deshotel – 512-463-0662

Rep. John Frullo – 512-463-0676

Rep. Craig Goldman – 512-463-0608

Rep. Oscar Longoria – 512-463-0645

Rep. Will Metcalf – 512-463-0726

Rep. Tom Oliverson – 512-463-0661

Rep. Eddie Rodriguez – 512-463-0674

Rep. Toni Rose – 512-463-0664

Rep. John Wray – 512-463-0516

The LP hates one bill and likes another. I can find neither and I’ve been doing this for decades. But here are some more politicians you might want to call on to let voters choose:

Rep. Stephanie Klick – 512-463-0599

Rep. Philip Cortez – 512-463-0269

Rep. John H. Bucy, III – 512-463-0696

Rep. Dustin Burrows – 512-463-0542

Rep. Briscoe Cain (Sponsor of the GOOD bill. Tell him “thanks!”) – 512-463-0733

Rep. Art Fierro – 512-463-0596

Rep. Celia Israel – 512-463-0821

Rep. Mayes Middleton (Sponsor of the BAD bill.) – 512-463-0502

Rep. Valoree Swanson – 512-463-0572

I personally like to egg the looters on in hopes the people will string them up once they realize they’ve been had. But cooler heads assure me that, like Maduro of Venezuela, Texas politicians simply feign incomprehension and act like their feelings are hurt. So I have no advice to give. No machine politician has ever seen reason until after being whopped upside with enough spoiler votes to turn or nearly turn the election.

A typical Libertarian Party email asking for money begins: Together, we’re forging ahead and navigating toward even greater accomplishments. Every step we take building party resources and infrastructure, all the hours of hard work put in by our dedicated volunteers, all the battles for ballot access and fair election procedures—(the message could end)… go down the toilet every time an infiltrator pimping for a hostile ideology penetrates the platform committee to poison our platform with nonsense! Today’s story is about a recent bit of… of what? sabotage to LP goodwill? clumsy incompetence? that could easily wipe out our 328% increase in ballot share earned in the November 2016 election.

Hearsay, apocrypha, curbside speechifying

LP News August 2018 p 5

Knapp then lays on some self-administered back-patting, flattery, apocryphal storytelling, hortative pseudo-ethics, hearsay, but no factual data. Formulated on false premises and hearsay, Knapp’s entire argument is fallacious. Candidate Trump said he likes libertarianism and was overwhelmingly elected on the promise to build the Republican platform fence.  True, Trump lost in the popular vote, but largely because the LP got four million of those votes–well over the Hillary-Trump gap.

Trump’s most popular move was the entry ban on “individuals who pose a credible threat to security, health or property,”  meaning suicide-vest terrorist ideologue brainwashees that crash planes into skyscrapers, machine-gun Paris nightclubs, run down pedestrians en masse in London, Nice and elsewhere, and today specialize in stabbing sprees much like the anarchist communists of a century ago–whose entry congress banned by law. As for borders, the first clear definition of government is an “entity which has a monopoly over the use of legitimate coercive power in a given territory.” Lack of borders typifies anarchy or war.

Knapp proceeds to assert that based on his reading of “the public mind” and his unmeasurable perception of the motion of “America’s political center of gravity” the “principles” of the LP needed “to move.” Libertarian principles in 1972 supported “laws that prohibit trespass” and urged “the maintenance of a sufficient military establishment to defend the United States against aggression” including “sufficient nuclear capacity.” The LP does not even want to recognize totalitarian governments. Nowhere in the principles or planks on which the Party was founded is there any restriction on Knapp himself buying land on the border and declaring it an entry point for jihadists and locust-swarms of refugees from unlibertarian satrapies. Knapp’s arm-waving assertions as to bedrock LP principles are fiction.

Knapp´s perceptions of principles only he sees, coupled with his public-mind-reading, his imaginary schedule of when things should happen and his sensing of massless gravity culminate in doublethink changes in the meaning of our original and recent platforms. His explanation? He “heard people.” Knapp claims he heard people “assert” that the platform plank he sought to savage might be invoked in support of a spurious and totally imaginary claim that the LP supports “collective immigration bans based on nationality, ethnicity, or religion.” Hearsay and fiction don’t get any more obvious than this.

First of all, federal laws prohibit those, but toothily demand bans on individual violent criminals. The Kleptocracy and its majority of voters have not yet changed that law, and the hearsay invoked is irrelevant even if true. Unlike Knapp, the federal government produces data its agencies claim are factual:

True? False? Exaggerated?

Enforcement and Removal Operations Report p 4. This is where el Presidente gets his figures.

This is last year’s list of what ICE claims are individual criminals they caught and turned over for prosecution or deportation. The second-largest item is Republican and Democrat sumptuary legislation banning enjoyable plant leaves, etc. Libertarian spoiler votes–to the extent we can still get any–are repealing this category of victimless “crime” even when we do not get our candidates elected. Assault, burglary, spouse-beating, robbery, rape, theft and vandalism, kidnapping, homicide and menacing are what the Republicans are mainly talking about, but Knapp never mentions. These acts are a far cry from worshipping a spaghetti monster, being brown or having a non-American passport–things Knapp imagines “some party members” associate with  a “credible threat to security, health or property.” But even Donald Trump welcomes individuals who “enrich our society and contribute to our nation.”

What has happened are visa restrictions against such People’s States as Cuba, Cambodia, Eritrea, Guinea, and Sierra Leone for refusing to accept back their nationals deported from the USA. Even those are not blanket visa restrictions, but country-by-country restrictions on the more troublesome categories of visas.  These five exemplify the sort of country the 1972 LP platform urged us not to even recognize–much less reward with visas.

But as long as we’re on the topic of threats, observe in the LP News article that Knapp postures defensively at imagined menaces to nationality, ethnicity, or religion, then warns that “my fellow Libertarians will never allow” the imaginary hearsay threat to materialize. Knapp boasts that the LP “never has” supported such fictional nonsense, which is true enough. But thanks to hostile infiltrators, nobody can say that no past LP platform has ever asked voters to enshrine molestation or child prostitution.

Pimp, by Tatsuya Ishida

Libertarian Party platforms and spoiler votes have overturned cruel laws banning birth control, interfered with tax hikes, and drawn the boiling wrath of fanatical looter ideologues. Naturally these ideologues will pass up no opportunity to sully our platform and make us look bad. Then again, we should expect no less–and certainly not expect honesty. Constant vigilance is due diligence.

Prohibition and The Crash, on Amazon Kindle

Why do refugees flee Statesward? Because the Republican Party’s 1928 Good Neighbor Policy began the exportation of the fanatical prohibitionism that brought on the Crash and left the US economy smoldering in the Great Depression. Prohibition and The Crash–Cause and Effect in 1929, explains how looter fanatic agents raiding banks in a fractional-reserve monetary structure SHRINK economies here, there and everywhere into black holes of banking panics and liquidity crises. Koerner fallacy v. Winning

Same smear tactics the kleptocracy used on the LP.org

Small Human Rights Party ad placed before the LP plank legalized women’s rights. See Original

Surrounding every small party dedicated to change–for better or worse–is a fog of panhandlers eager to bleed off donations. Those donations would otherwise go to the gatherers of leveraged, law-changing spoiler votes. FEE, the Foundation for Economic Education fits the profile for one of these panhandlers.

Robin Koerner is a British-born recent convert to the USA. Like McAfee, a likable noob to whom the LP “owed” the nomination the same year he joined, Koerner has “answers.” But Koerner’s pitch is based on appallingly false, misleading and irrelevant suppositions. Foremost among these is Koerner’s view that ethics, law, history, economics and politics don’t matter, but pop psychologizing by an altruist from fascist Spain does. For guidance Koerner looks to a Franco-era mystical looter to whom life “is cosmic realization of altruism” (Ortega y Gasset, 2012:73). The Libertarian Party, on the other hand, asks us to sign a disavowal of fascist-style aggression. The disavowal was written by Ayn Rand in February of 1947. (Letters of Ayn Rand p. 366) That was back when altruistic fascist and nazi collaborators in Europe were kind of scarce because so many had been hanged by their former victims!

Koerner’s is the thinking of marketing people in Dilbert cartoons. Koerner also believes grinning candidates matter–not platforms, that you should emulate whiners and that the medium is the message. Sound familiar?
The premise–at least the part dense enough to identify–confuses a likable and successful single-issue lobby like UKIP with a political party. The conclusion is Koerner’s assertion that “…psychology must be the focus of any political party that is serious about doing what it is formed to do—which is win elections.”  UKIP won because Brits finally understood that Brexit is the antonym of Anschluss! Having felt the familiar sensation of losing on their hides, Europeans now grasp the meaning of winning! Winning is ditching coercion and gaining freedom.

It takes one to know one?

Like any huckster, this one is attracted to marks, suckers, losers “despondent because 47 years says that your guy never gets elected.” The error is that the LP is not in business to support pop-psych cheerleaders or manufacture paycheck politicians. For 47 years the LP has changed hundreds of laws and policies so as to reduce the initiation of force. We WIN this progress with the law-changing clout of principled spoiler votes. We win because the looters that ignore us get beaten by looters less coercive.

In its first campaign year the LP wrote the content the Supreme Court used in Roe v Wade to kill coathanger abortion laws. Does Koerner mention this? Democrats sure as hell don’t, but Republicans and Prohibition Party hucksters immediately drew up Constitutional Amendments to overturn Roe v Wade. To them the good old days were when a mail order diaphragm was cause for ten years in prison. They are STILL writing and pushing amendments to force women into involuntary labor.

Remember the draft? Napalming children in ‘Nam? Dixiecrats bombing prayer meetings? Middle East invasions and Republicans bawling for the death sentence for marijuana? All of those things felt the chill from fewer than 4000 spoiler votes and one electoral vote counted in December of 1972. Today we cast 4 MILLION such votes. Here’s what the logistics substitution curve fit looks like:

The LP is on track to earn 50% of the vote by 2075.

Fisher-Pry curves show democracy replacing monarchy as coal & oil replaced wood

Prohibitionists with 1.4% of the vote (assisted by venal and cowardly looter politicians) passed the 18th Amendment and Marxist income tax which wrecked the economy and brought the Great Depression. This is the power of spoiler votes cast in support of a principled (albeit idiotic) stand. All we need do is let voters know that the button next to the ones they’ve been pushing will speed up the rate at which violent laws are repealed so that freedom replaces coercion and prosperity replaces debt. Libertarians are not despondent. Libertarian voters are winning every election. All four looter parties are shrivelling. The growing LP record of vote share fits a logistical substitution curve that indicates the LP (or its policies) should have half the total votes by 2075.

Koerner’s whole message is designed to obfuscate that crucial point and lead confused customers down a blind alley. That the alley is full of muggers, pickpockets and predators is not news. The Human Rights Party–organized shortly before the LP (see top of this page)–found out the hard way. Its organizers knew nothing of the meaning of government or freedom, the nature of rights or the language of money! They are extinct, but the Libertarian Party is thriving despite the “help” of “friends” like Koerners and FEE.
