Repeal Victimless Usurpations

 

If either Kleptocracy party wants to “win,” its platform should include repeal, decriminalize and expunge. Tarl tells it like it is, but leaves out the relative law-changing clout of Libertarian spoiler versus Kleptocracy bootlicking votes.(link)

Remember Jerome Tuccille? He was a Libertarian candidate back about 1976, and wrote “It Usually Begins with Ayn Rand,” which I recommend.(link) He also wrote a Trump bio I haven’t read. But the important thing was the lesson he learned as a candidate. Every vote cost $6 in campaign spending at that time. Converting to current dollars, all else held constant, today’s votes would cost $36 apiece in 2020 dollars. 

Spoiler vote replacement effect

So if I were to waste a vote on the Dem or GOP platform promises, that 0.00000007% of the vote total would accrue to the benefit of one or the other looter party as $36 worth. But the Libertarian party vote growth rate in 2016 was increasing at a slope of 1.2, which is an angle of 50 degrees, accelerating rapidly. This rapid growth imparts extra law-changing heft to each libertarian vote–heft that does not require that our candidates be sworn in. 

But Libertarian candidates did win 73 races last year, a palpable drain of money away from Kleptocracy coffers and an enormous decrease in their effective social pressure.(link) Their party mathematicians are painfully aware of these facts–especially the fact that when the LP.org vote share is larger than the difference between their “winner” and “loser,” the probability projections for their loot, pelf and boodle go out the window. Libertarian spoiler votes pack roughly 20x the law-changing clout of bootlicking Kleptocracy votes. So on average, LP spoiler votes are worth $720 apiece. If you instead vote Kleptocracy you are throwing away $684 worth of vote clout!

 

Nixon almost lost when girl-bullying racial collectivists handed George Wallace the electoral votes for four Dixiecrat States. Wallace, like JFK, was quickly riddled with bullets, which was the equivalent of a Chappaquiddick incident for nomination purposes.(link) The GOP absorbed the Klan and broke up the Solid South. On their third confrontation with the Libertarian Party–whose 1972 plank was rewritten as the Roe v Wade decision, Dems in 1980 plunked for subsidized birth control (link) rather than the Libertarian solution of deregulating the medical cartel. Their open borders preference for flowers and granola to repel Soviet nuclear attacks did them in.

NOW the Dems and God’s Own Prohibitionists(link) are realizing how spoiler votes change election outcomes, and whining lest your vote benefit YOUR FREEDOM rather than some looter politician’s hand in your pocket! Ain’t that something? Listen to what the looter parties say about each other and remember all that on election day!

ANcommunists before the LP.org

After the 3-year Depression presaged by the first Prohibition Crash of 1920, Congress reacted to the sudden increase in looter anarchist partisans with the 1924 Immigration Act. Here’s how it worked. 

Encouraged by confiscation, fines, asset forfeiture and cruel prison terms imposed on miscreants not shot on sight, religious fanatics turned the force of law against Sunday baseball. They blacklisted merchandise and made a crime–not of violence–but of trade and production.** America then was (thanks to our oilfields) a mystical satrapy more like Saudi Arabia than Iran.(link)

But in a fractional reserve banking system where securities are sold on credit backed by the value of the stock shares, confiscations, fines and asset forfeiture cause depositors to remove money from banks and sell off their stocks. The money supply contracts sharply and a liquidity crunch generates a wave of bankruptcies. Depression results and voters rightly conclude they’ve been had.(link)

This happened in 1907, 1914, 1920, 1929, 1987 and 2008. The mechanism is described in Friedman’s “Free to Choose.” When these events of 1920 and 1929 impoverished the nation, there was no opposition Libertarian Party to turn to. Voters turned away from the failed Kleptocracy and canvassed for communists operating under several different names. Communist ranks increased both times.(link) 

Prohibition and eugenic lead to poverty, communism,  fascism and war

The Kleptocracy dropped the ball, angry voters went elsewhere and communist membership doubled in the 1920-23 Depression. Communist membership fell when the dry laws were suborned and prosperity returned. But the 1929 Increased Penalties Act crashes caused communist numbers to double by 1932 and increase to five times the 1929 figure by 1937. With still no Libertarian Party to turn to, economic blight brought racial collectivist Christian National Socialists out of the woodwork in the US, Europe and Latin America. Another World War followed. That all changed after 1972.(link) 

After George Bush Jr orchestrated the asset-forfeiture Crash of 1980, seizing bank accounts and homes containing a potted hemp plant, the economy went to hell and ku-klux christianofascism suffered a telling blow. After twice failing to elect mystics, God’s Own Prohibitionists hired a trained persuader who was assisted to power by backlash against Global Warmunist pseudoscientists and anti-industrial doomcriers.

Gary Johnson running as a quasi-Republican girl-bullier in 2012 doubled our vote share thanks to the search for outside parties. But when Johnson recognized the individual rights the LP defended for women in 1972, our take went up 328% to 4.5 million votes in the federal elections and another 8 million or so in more important down-ballot elections.(link) The Libertarian Party is growing 80% per year and all the looter parties–communist and fascist alike–are losing members.

Once voters understand how government agent bank robbers and home-confiscators wreck the economy and attract coercive altruism, we stand to add another 8 million votes in general elections for 36 million overall. That kind of spoiler vote clout could repeal the 16th Amendment and free individuals of the IRS. But if the current Libertarian Platform Committee adds idiotic voter-alienating planks, or a conspicuously insane street person or girl-bullying republican gets the nomination, all is lost.(link)

Cognitive Mental Blocks

Ecological National Socialists have no trouble understanding how two logical variables yield four possibilities when it suits their agenda. The NFPA circulates the above (admittedly garbled) chart in support of violent laws against anything liable to interrupt a game of dominoes at the government-owned fire station.

But teevee, subsidized by the Nixon anti-libertarian law to ignore everything except kleptocracy, can only focus on three possibilities.

Yet those same intellectuals become one-dimensional when challenged to understand anything that lies outside the Venn Diagram circles encompassing socialism in its populist and communo-fascist variants. A blinkered looter visualizes a straight line running from Hitler/Mussolini/Franco to Stalin/Ceausescu/Mao with nothing in between but religious gradations of socialist and mystical altruism.

To the entire satisfaction of mystical prohibitionists, adding alcohol to water eventually transubstantiates the latter into a Satanic alcoholic beverage, and adding (non-mohammedan) religion to a heavily-mixed economy gradually changes it from “bad” socialism to (by their lights) “good” fascism. Nowadays fascists and socialists alike refer to their own system as “democracy” and that other one, respectively, as socialism or fascism.

In These States the Tordesillas line was drawn at an alcoholic content of 0.5% in the Prohibition Enforcement act drawn up by Andrew Volstead of Minnesota. This distinction also made sauerkraut evil, Satanic and illegal. But when this law enforcing the Prohibition Amendment flipped off the lights of freedom on the night of January 16th, 1920, the U.S. Senate, by declining to be a party to the Treaty of Versailles, kept us technically at war with Germany, or The Accursed Hun as it was known at the time. So no True American™ really cared about sauerkraut.

Among today’s fanatics–struggling to ban electric power or plant leaves instead of beer–none have even the foggiest notion or how an individual right might be defined. To them a right is something the world owes them at your expense, not a moral claim to freedom of action. Most puzzling to this mentality is confrontation with the Nolan Diagram. Even survivors of the Argentine educational system can grasp a 2-gradient chart between freedom and orders at gunpoint when broken down according to the two primary contexts (individual personhood and agency as homo economicus) from which they fish for pretexts to justify aggression at gunpoint.

Here is an Argentine version of the Nolan Chart in its version tilted so as to allow the one-dementional to superimpose upon it their own universe of discourse confined to a horizontal line extending from Hitler to Stalin.

To American National Socialists, for whom Herbert Hoover, Richard Nixon and George Wallace are plain, regular folks, this Argentine chart makes no sense whatsoever. Ever since Carnegie Institute Liberals formed an anti-Klan, pro-Beer party in 1930, then published a platform demanding the repeal of the Prohibition Amendment, the word liberal changed its meaning. Shortly before Election Day, in late October of 1932, the ruling coalition redefined liberal to mean “godless communist drunkards who hate America” in the costume of its own imaginings.

Citizens of civilized nations are utterly baffled by this coinage–minted as it were in the very heart of the Sahara of the Bozarts over which Richmond Hobson of Alabama, Morris Sheppard of Texas and Volstead shone beatifically as the very embodiment of the Holy Trinity… while voters locked the head of the Republican Party into the stocks of the guillotine and gave the lever a satisfying tug.

Argentine Libertarian Party

Eighty-seven years later, liberal everywhere else in the world still means libertarian. Cowardly, spineless, unprincipled or gelded libertarian, true enough, but libertarian or liberal is in both cases lies at the root of the noun denoting an individual who recognizes the individual rights of fellow human beings–even in opposition to the Divine “right” (meaning sanction to murder and rob) of kings, popes, caudillos and klans. 

So all is not lost. Looter values begin and end with “we must issue the following orders at gunpoint” because (__insert rationalizing pretext__). If the pretext is “because the Bible says altruism is good,” then the speaker is fascist-prohibitionist-totalitarian in value orientation. If the pretext is “because selfishness feels like it ought to be denounced as evil,” then the speaker is a conditioned socialist-collectivist-communist-totalitarian.

Argentinos–politically separated by a papal line on a map–cannot completely let go of the one-dimensional lay/progressive v. religious/fascist differentiation. But today they at least they grasp the concept of how two related choices generate four possible outcomes. That’s progress Americans would do well to understand.
