Monteiro Lobato book translation

My translation of Monteiro Lobato’s 1926 political sci-fi novel is online in Kindle format. I hope to format the softcover version in a few days. The translation is in 1920s American, and is guaranteed to surprise the daylights out of most readers.

Germ warfare and China

Germ War Genocide prophet

Socialist lecturer 1907

The current viral pandemic looks a little like the bacteriological war designed by an American communist. The story dates back to the battered, bowed and bloodied Quing Dynasty, a few years before the 1911 revolution.(link) It was written before the Celestials were invaded by Japan, then later degenerated into a socialist dictatorship. The American communist was Jack London, author of Alaskan Wolf and Dog stories of the gold rush days, stories our parents were pleased to see us devour in childhood. London was an admirer of all variants of “the German philosophy” and bore bitter hatred for merciless, remorseless laissez faire. Nothing less than the initiation of deadly force made any sense to that socialist orator and author.

Comrade Jack London revealed to a surprised America that “The Japanese is not an individualist.” This in The Yellow Peril, written back when racial collectivism was completely fashionable–at least among the pukka sahib.(link) Our eugenicist Republican President had opined that American women were duty-bound to reproduce. To think otherwise, according to Theodore Roosevelt, was “race suicide.” (link)

The Unparalleled Invasion was written shortly after The Yellow Peril. In it “all countries” attack a relatively peaceful China with germ warfare agents. The story was written as sci-fi predicting the distant future year 1976. So if the Chinese controlled the World Health Organization and took over FATF to wreck the banking system as a bioweapons attack kicked in, they got the idea from America’s own Wild Dog looter.(link) Go to gutenberg.org and find Jack London’s The Strength of The Strong, where the story starts on page 60.(link)

Jack London prediction realized

1932 cartoon matches Jack London’s 1904 predictions

Jack London was one with the prohibitionist communists urging passage of the income tax, prohibition and proletarian Senate election Amendments. Objectivists may feel a sense of schadenfreude to learn that the author of “Love of Life,” supposedly committed suicide in 1916; his half-brother Louis London was said by police to have shot himself in suicide in January of 1965. Apocalyptic Prophesies

Fat Freddy's Cat v TeeVee

Things we learned in the Sixties…

There was a time when only mystical fanatics with invisible friends got in your face with “knowledge” of horrible disasters to come. Millerites predicted rapture in the 1840s. The fiery bloodbath never came so they changed into 7th-Day Adventists and have learnt to be coy about exactly when the Rapture will smite unbelievers–but it WILL! Before the 1920s, religious fanatics were sure men with service pistols could ward off race suicide, dirty books, venereal disasters and the mass insanity brought about by beer saloons and Sunday baseball. Their 16th and 18th Amendments pushed by the likes of William Jennings Bryan turned out worse than all of the above.

Communism and Landover Baptist Fanaticism

Monkey trial religious communist

Soon there were Reefer Madness predictions, Nuclear Winter if we didn’t disarm and surrender, Radioactive Rapture if we kept using heavily shielded nuclear reactors for cheap electricity, Instant Enslavement if we failed to bomb Southeast Asia (because dominoes), Bozone Barbecue, imminent high energy global frying of the sparsely populated Southern Hemisphere unless air conditioner freon and hair spray were banned (and 20 or so Antarctic volcanoes repented and quit spraying chlorine upward)…(link)

The Soviet Union’s religion was based on invisible Success and Happiness the Faithful would Someday enjoy, and when JFK defeated Nixon it predicted Misanthropic Climate Change (bad weather caused by non-communists bearing arms).(link) By the 1980s this had gotten old enough to merit satirizing. The Church of the Sub-Genius filled its brochures with ghastly predictions:

CLEVELAND, Ohio: The Church of the SubGenius has announced that the end of the world will take place on Monday, July 5, 2010. In preparation for the fulfillment of this doomsday prophecy, the Church is requesting that all of its members participate in a bizarre religious ceremony taking place in upstate New York, during the final weekend before the arrival of the apocalypse.(link)

This scooped the failed 2012 End-Of-The-World and icecaps blowing off in a puff of steam as tsunamis wash the snow off of Mount Everest–all of which are way past their use-by dates.(link)

Competing with the Church of the Sub-Genius we now have the more specialized Landover Baptist Church of Freehold, Iowa.(link)

But there have been real disasters in the past (even before communist germ labs and reactor shacks in occupied Ukraine), most of them resulting from pseudoscience-driven prohibitionism acting upon a fractional-reserve banking system. Nobody talks about the tipping point where AML looting crashes the banking system.

LSD replaces masturbation

From George Orwell’s reminiscences of boarding school days in 1915 comes this jewel of an aide-memoire:

A feeling of doom descended upon me. So I was guilty too. I too had done the dreadful thing, whatever it was, that wrecked you for life, body and soul, and ended in suicide or the lunatic asylum. Till then I had hoped that I was innocent, and the conviction of sin which now took possession of me was perhaps all the stronger because I did not know what I had done.

Forty-five years later both Kinsey reports had been published, Atlas Shrugged and Stranger in a Strange Land were best-sellers, and every boy had surreptitious access to articles debunking superstition and pseudoscience in Satan’s own Playboy Magazine. Christian National Socialist Truths had–like their predecessors asserting that beer and rum led to murder, insanity, suicide–become the object of braying laughter, and nobody believed that touching oneself would result in blindness, insanity or hair growing on the palms of one’s hands. Enter Aldous Huxley and Timothy Leary as the involuntary Saviors of doomed disciplinarian dogma.

Senator John F Kennedy established a dallying liaison with next-door-neighbor and later acidhead artist Mary Pinchot Meyer back when Huxley and Leary were early adopters. A year before the assassination the name Dr Dana Farnsworth began appearing as attribution in fake news “scientific” articles insinuating that LSD and similar drugs “have the power to damage the individual psyche, indeed cripple it for life.” The “scoutmaster’s stern talk” was again resurrected to save youth from leather-winged Satanism.  Here was Satan’s own drug “abuse” as replacement for the disparaged and discredited self-abuse theories of the previous century!

Sure enough, Congress and the Several States deputed bands of armed thugs authorized to arrest, rob, shoot and kill such LSD users as had not already leapt to their deaths out of skyscraper windows. Abusive fathers whose daughters ran away from home now had The Devil’s Own Temptation as an alibi–until medical examiners disproved the hogwash after the furore had died down.(link) Millions upon millions or youths meanwhile met for Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Hendrix, The Doors, Cream and Mammas and the Papas, etc. concerts to disprove by experiment the rabid disinformation–yet were robbed, jailed and shot just the same for another three decades. Nixon was forced out, the Libertarian party began getting pro-choice votes before there even was such a thing anywhere else, and now earns a thousand times as many votes as in that 1972 election–a share now growing at 80% a year.

So here we are 49 years later. Those pro-choice, anti-war, and pro-rights votes stopped the Prohibition-Dixiecrat-Republican fascist dreikaiserbund from threatening birth control clinics with guns, and have by now removed deadly prohibitions on many plant leaves… Best estimates indicate that Libertarian candidates have drained off over 200 million votes since 1972. Many a fascist kleptocrat has lost to a communist kleptocrat (and vice-versa) after local voters chose instead to cast ballots for THEIR OWN FREEDOM!

Today a new bunch of pseudoscientists assert that “electrical generation has the power to damage the collective environment, indeed cripple it”–unless men with guns are sent out to arrest, rob, shoot and kill such electrical energy providers as have not already been lynched by addled regulators. Since the evident victims of this latest superstitious lynch mob consist predominantly of instigators of the earlier superstitious lynch mobs enacting Comstockism, national prohibition, Blue Laws, military involuntary servitude and additional cruel prohibition laws, it is not at all easy to work up a lot of sympathy while schadenfreude comes quite naturally.

The LP has no prejudice against electrical energy, so elections–to the extent not rigged by Nixon subsidies–now include a sort of Darwinian intelligence test that will determine the survival of the parties most fit to cope with a reality-based environment.

Race Suicide Ideology

Ban Contraceptives, Malthusian Armageddon!

Forced labor popularized

From the sinking hulk of the Prohibition Party a contingent of race suicide fanatics have since 1972 swum over to the Republicans. It is clear enough that their more theatrical and deadly manifestations followed the Supreme Court adoption of the LP birth control plank shortly after the 1972 election.(link) But where do these racial collectivist ideas come from?

One source is U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt who in 1902 wrote a scolding letter to Maria Van Horst on “what is fundamentally infinitely more important than any other question in this country—that is, the question of race suicide, complete or partial.”(link) Teddy also explained how criminal it is to want to live one’s own life, unbothered with “strong racial qualities”:

But the man or woman who deliberately avoids marriage, and has a heart so cold as to know no passion and a brain so shallow and selfish as to dislike having children, is in effect a criminal against the race, and should be an object of contemptuous abhorrence by all healthy people.

How fanatical T.R. was on this subject can be gleaned from another such letter penned while reading Jean Finot, whom T.R. deems an expert on La Mort des Races.(link) This 1907 letter is an attempt to get a book publisher to block such writings, on grounds that

…it is a simple mathematical proposition that, where the average family that has children at all has only three, the race at once diminishes in numbers, and if the tendency is not checked will vanish completely, — in other words, there will be race suicide.

Seven years later the Pope of Rome was alarmed, as is clear enough from the clipping above. Other famous Christians also got on the bandwagon. Heinrich Himmler was another such influential ideologue pushing christian altruism. His published 1938 speech on the subject of homosexuality and its long-term implications for society and reproduction rates states:

I would like to develop a couple of ideas for you on the question of homosexuality. There are those homosexuals who take the view: what I do is my business, a purely private matter. However, all things which take place in the sexual sphere are not the private affair of the individual, but signify the life and death of the nation, signify world power or ‘swissification’. The people which has many children has the candidature for world power and world domination. A people of good race which has too few children has a one-way ticket to the grave, for insignificance in fifty or a hundred years, for burial in two hundred and fifty years …(link)

Race suicide eugenics may not be the only impulse driving the superstitious and altruistic to meddle at gunpoint in women’s reproductive decisions, but it is clearly one of the more important factors.

Republicans Fear LP Spoiler votes

Lose the looter planks or lose the election

Law-changing spoiler votes

Nixon’s Republican Party changed the tax code to pay the media to ignore the Libertarian Party in 1971, the year we were founded. Yet with its first published platform the LP parlayed fewer than 4000 votes into a win for women in the US and Canada.

The LP platform language:

“We further support the repeal of all laws restricting voluntary birth control or voluntary termination of pregnancies during their first hundred days.”

was translated by Austin attorney Libby Linebarger into the Roe v. Wade decision

“(a) For the stage prior to approximately the end of the first trimester, the abortion decision and its effectuation must be left to the medical judgment of the pregnant woman’s attending physician. …”

The next election, 1976, both the Republican Party and its Prohibitionist spoiler vote controllers demanded a Constitutional Amendment to overturn that Libertarian Party platform plank copied by the Supreme Court. The Prohibitionists have finally given up and are pushing the Global Warming Apocalypso. But Republican partisans are still in a rut as of their 2016 platform:

We support a human life amendment to the Constitution and legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment’s protections apply to children before birth.

The 14th Amendment, by the way, starts by protecting “All persons born”, not all ova fertilized.

God’s Own Prohibitionists have since 2013 had mystical shills penning tear-jerker insinuations at Forbes. After carpetbiting for an Amendment to undo the Libertarian Party’s 1972 plank for 46 years, Republicans now understand that the collectivism of race suicide paranoia is the anvil that is drowning their party. Global Warmunism is the even bigger anvil drowning the Democratic and Econazi parties. Good riddance!

Yet in our battleground states, where Libertarian vote counts are larger than the difference between the Nationalsocialist warriors-for-the-babies and the Soviet socialist energy slave abolitionists, we handed the election to the least coercive candidate, and the looter parties lost those about evenly. Our pro-choice candidate may win the NM senate race, and not just in the usual sense of WINNING by forcing the looters to repeal bad laws (or getting the Supreme Court to strike them down).
