Mr. BIDEN:… On the supply side, this package provides for stronger new penalties for most drug-related crimes, including mandatory minimum penalties for the kingpins of the drug syndicates and for those who sell their poisons to our children. In addition, this package contains provisions aimed at striking at the financial underpinnings of organized crime and drug trafficking syndicates, through the use of forfeiture of substitute assets provisions and a new crime against money laundering, both of which will assist law enforcement agencies in seizing the proceeds of drug traffickers.

Finally, in regards to domestic law enforcement, $115 million is provided to directly assist State and local law enforcement agencies for drug law enforcement. Most of the fight against drug traffickers is waged, not by the federal government, but by State and local agencies who are all-to-often out manned and out gunned by the drug dealers and smugglers. These moneys will provide desperately needed funds to such agencies to assist in their efforts.

In addition to combating drug trafficking in the streets of our cities and communities, we must also stem the flow of drugs across our borders. This bill increases by one-third the current level of funding for interdiction at the border, including additional personnel and equipment for the Coast Guard and the Customs Service. Moreover, this bill assigns Coast Guard law enforcement teams to Navy ships to bring the Department of Defense more actively into the fight against drug trafficking.

This legislation also provides for supply reduction efforts on the international side of the drug control equation. Almost $75 million is provided for additional crop eradication and substitution programs, including funds for operations like that conducted recently in Bolivia, where the cocaine processing networks have been significantly disrupted.

In addition, this legislation revamps present law governing foreign assistance, favorable U.S. votes and multilateral development banks, and generalized system of preferences tariff benefits to narcotic producing and narcotic transit countries. Under these provisions, benefits will be denied all major illicit drug producing countries, unless the President certifies each year that the country is cooperating fully with the United States in combating narcotics production, trafficking, and narcotics money laundering. This combination of increased assistance and narcotics-related sanctions will provide important new incentives for drug producing countries to cooperate fully with the United States and clearly focus our foreign-policy efforts to decrease the supply and distribution of drugs and the international community. /Biden

This law became effective 90 days (one quarter) after it was passed. Federal financial bureaucracies define a recession as a decline in GNP over the space of two successive quarters. So this prohibitionist drug law passed and was signed by Reagan October 27, 1986 and only after another three quarters, on August 27, 1987, would any federal notice be taken of its prompt economic effect.

The Federal Reserve Board met August 18, 1987 and on August 22 Dow Jones Industrials stood at 2700 (up 40%, with commercial real estate a froth–according to Greenspan). On September 10, 1987, came Reagan’s White House Conference for a Drug-Free America, and the following day all VA employees had to take drug tests or be fired. Less than two weeks later, NYT headlines blared: BIDEN BLAMES FAULTY MEMORY FOR STATEMENTS.

Hearings were held October 27, 1987 on Federal Anti-Drug Abuse Policies featuring Audits and Coast Guard personnel. The previous day the DJIA fell another 8%. These events are similar to what happened in 1929 when beer, not cocaine, was the addictive narcotic. Pure Food Law Recession

1907 amendment: alcohol excise tax dodgers sentenced to death or blindness without a trial (link)

 A Reason Magazine article on the disputed definition of milk brought to mind the facts behind the Panic of 1907. (link)

The Pure Food Law passed in 1906, three years after the Silent Panic brought on by a Chinese boycott of American products. The boycott–three years after the Boxer Rebellion failed to exclude foreign morphine and needles from prohibitionist China–got the attention of U.S. industrialists and bankers and the mixed-economy politicians they owned and controlled. British baby syrup had Poison, Morphine written on the labels, and that made them comparatively honest and straightforward by Chinese standards. The Pure Food law only became enforceable in 1907, the Year of the Panic. This was the year of a Great Awakening in China, as Draconian measures were afoot in a War on Poppies. 

Theodore Roosevelt’s inherited fortune and guilt came from American participation in selling opium in China. Once promoted by assassination to the Presidency, the former Police Commissioner who had served the Comstockers and Anti-Vice societies as muscle to enforce Sunday closing of New York Saloons set out to put the Teeth into Temperance. Industrial alcohol would be excise-tax-free, provided poison were added to sicken, blind and/or kill any who drink it.

Bureau of Chemistry guru Wiley chose a pharmacopoeia definition of whiskey and wrote a Decision to make it binding.  Countering government chemist Wiley, Attorney‑General Bonaparte differed as to the Revealed definition of “whiskey” and offered his own alternatives: 

The following seem to me appropriate specimen brands or labels for (1) “straight” whisky/whiskey, (2) a mixture of two or more “straight” whiskies, (3) a mixture of “straight” whisky/whiskey and ethyl alcohol, and (4) ethyl alcohol flavored and colored so as to taste, smell, and look like whisky/whiskey.
(1) Semper Idem Whisky/whiskey: A pure, straight whisky/whiskey mellowed by age.
(2) E Pluribus Unum Whisky/whiskey: A blend of pure, straight whiskies with all the merits of each.
(3) Modern Improved Whisky/whiskey: A compound of pure grain distillates, mellow and free from harmful impurities.
(4) Something Better than Whisky/whiskey: An imitation under the pure food law, free from fusel oil and other impurities.  (Other suggestions primly censored as politically unwoke.)

The gauntlet was flung, the challenge accepted, and so began one of many parallel legal battles whose first casualty would be the American banking system and economy.

MINNEAPOLIS, July 27 (AP) Concentration of National Guard troops in downtown Minneapolis because of the truck drivers’ strike, was increased by the moving in of an especially trained “shock” troop Battalion today.

  Quietness pervaded the city as the Third Battalion of the 206th Infantry entered the downtown district with a heavy complement of arms, including gas guns, field machine guns, and automatic rifles. The men, most of them veterans with war experience were specially trained in dispersing crowds.

  Military rule of the city, decreed yesterday by Gov. Floyd B Olson, this morning brought guardsmen to every corner of the heart of the downtown district. They acted on instructions to prevent parking within a 76-block area except to discharge passengers, and to forbid the gathering of crowds. They wore steel helmets and carried rifles with fixed bayonets.

  The total strength of the guard within the city approximated 1200. Some 2800 more men still remain at city limits, ready for call. Whether this reserve force would be demobilized and sent home, depended on developments in the next few days. Sixty-eight persons were injured, most of them wounded and one fatally, by police shotguns a week ago today when pickets attempted to halt a loaded truck.
Armed guardsmen patrolled the downtown district as federal mediators, the Rev. Francis Haas and E.H. Dunnigan, prepared a new peace plan they expected to complete today and the employers’ advisory committee again publicly blamed Communists for the strike. All efforts to settle the controversy so far have failed.


Citizens Not Affected


  For the most part, citizens were unaffected by control of the National Guard. Striking drivers, however, were forbidden to congregate out-of-doors in large numbers without written consent of Adjutant General E.A. Walsh. This order also applied to all gatherings of 100 persons or more.

  Employers were unable to move commercial vehicles, save trucks bearing necessities, without official permits from the military. Trucks that did not move today, plied the streets without armed police convoys for the first time in almost a week.
  Deliveries of breadstuffs, milk, ice, beer, gasoline were unhampered by guardsmen. This did not (Continued on Page 2)

  A few hours before the troops got underway, both sides failed to agree on peace terms promulgated by the federal mediators. After the military took control, the employer’s advisory committee issued a public statement condemning communism.

The strike in Minneapolis is not a strike of union labor for redress of any wrongs. Who makes decisions about financial intervention and World Health?

According to WHO (The World Health Organization), contributions from the U.S. government, American citizens, and U.S.-based charities make up 76% of all voluntary contributions to the organization. That amounted to $945.6 million from 2016 to 2017. 

This is pretty close to what Tucker, the narrator over at Fox News has to say.(link) His story checks out. In fact just about everything national socialist “conservatives” say about international socialist “progressives” (and vice-versa) is as close as either gang ever comes to saying anything true. The puppet FOX claims the Chinese dictatorship has propped up at the WHO (who send men with guns to shoot and jail kids because of plant leaves) is clearly pathetic.(link) But to the Chinese dictatorship he’s “our” pathetic stooge. Who else does Red China have shaping policy?

Prohibitionists routinely cause financial collapses via asset forfeiture enactments, and when they do, the Republican Party they infiltrate and poison loses several successive presidential elections. China noticed this weakness. This latest crash came during FATF Week in Paris.(link) These bureaucrats design the deliberate looting of bank accounts, and crash economies as in 2008, and cause flash crashes.(link)

As soon as the latest FATF Crash needed to be explained away, subsidized media rushed into print with the 3-month-old communist lab virus no longer profitable to ignore. The FATF Week meeting was covered in Pakistani and Iranian media–and few other journalistic news outlets. 

The U.S. President ought to investigate FATF and declaw it. Charging the communists reparations for their germ lab accident could be an additional step. The simplest method would be to use the asset-forfeiture FATF itself recommends to seize the Treasury Bills in Chinese communist hands. What better way to combat terrorism?

When it comes to votes, either way, this crash and depression will arguably benefit the Libertarian Party, just as the 2008 Bush FATF crash helped us increase our vote share by 328% from 2008 to 2016. While the economy was recovering from the previous asset-forfeiture crash, medieval prohibitionism of plant leaves and contraception could be overlooked. But prohibitionism is the weakness in America’s mixed economy totalitarians have learned to exploit.

1988 Great Depression, 1929 Remake

Denial that prohibition caused ANOTHER Crash!

Republicans and their Democratic abettors pretended the 1920-22 Crash and Depression were happenstance—nothing whatsoever to do with a Constitutional Amendment ending the freedom of trade and production. Those closest to the public–smugglers and bootleggers–simply ignored the dry laws, and paid cops, agents, prosecutors, inspectors and judges to help them ignore them. Freedom from coercion was bought and sold like any other commodity in a mixed-economy market.

Realists understood perfectly that coercive meddling had precipitated the Crash and plunged the nation into a Depression at the onset of Constitutional Prohibition. And sure enough, nullification of the dry looters’ laws enabled the economy to recover in fairly short order. But God’s Own Prohibitionists were far from pleased. The Great Unwashed was treating them with the sort of irreverence Andrew Jackson had displayed toward the Supreme Court’s Chief Justice: “Now let’s see him enforce it.”

Goodbye Weimar, hello Third Reich!

Battalions of brutes with service pistols and political will could, they imagined, secure “real” prohibition enforcement. Sheer murderous mobilization had, after all, served to Hooverize and throttle the Accursed Hun in 1918, had it not? So the Jones Five and Ten Law was handed to Herbert Hoover to wield as bludgeon, bayonet and blackjack. Former prosecutor Willebrandt published the complete arsenal of government weaponization in a book-length column in August and September in some 2 dozen papers, and the economy went from recovering to ruined in 12 weeks.

Suddenly, amid the wreckage of the Crash, Senator Jones Law Jones–the very incarnation of the Methodist White Terror–was running the G.O.P.  Senator Robinson, remanded to the Sahara of the Bozarts, was replaced at the Dem helm by impecunious-immigrant-turned-gold-magnate Walsh. Walsh was father of Evalyn “Hope Diamond” Walsh McLean, a hard-drinking morphine addict once best friends with the Late President Warren Harding, and married to Edward McLean, newspaper magnate nearly arrested for lying to protect a former cabinet officer in the Teapot Dome.

Events in 1987 followed the same pattern. Mystical prohibitionism ramped up until the economy crashed in 1987, then retrenched with increasing fanaticism until voters had no choice but to throw the bastards out.

WASHINGTON (AP) – faced with a revolt by conservatives, congressional leaders attached anti-obscenity provisions to a compromise drug bill so the measure can pass and the 100th Congress can go home.
A weary House Speaker Jim Wright predicted Thursday night that both houses would approve the leaders’ “final agreement” on the drug bill today, but cautioned that the obscenity language could not be “nailed down” until lawmakers reviewed it. The bill is the major legislation keeping Congress in session.
After marathon meetings by rank-and-file negotiators, Wright along with the majority and minority leaders of both houses – gathered to tackle the unresolved issues Thursday night.
The thorniest among them proved to be Senate-passed language to give the federal government broad new powers to combat obscenity.
Earlier in the day, rank-and-file lawmakers stripped the language from the drug bill after liberals insisted the government’s powers would be too broad.
“We were threatened with a revolt” by conservatives, said right, who admitted he began envisioning an embarrassing floor fight that would destroy his effort to unite liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, behind the bill that could help all incumbents.
A coalition of conservative groups began an intense last-ditch telephone campaign to win inclusion of the anti-obscenity provisions, said Diane quarter main, legislative affairs director of the Liberty Federation, formerly the Moral Majority.
The bill – which would authorize some $2.5 billion in new anti-drug money, is an ambitious attempt to deal with all aspects of the drug problem, including law enforcement, treatment, rehabilitation, education and help for authorities in drug-producing countries.
New initiatives would include up to $10,000 in civil fines for those caught with personal use amounts of drugs; a federal death penalty for killers in drug -related crimes; and denial of some federal benefits to convicted drug offenders, including users.
A number of lawmakers cautioned the drug bill would be meaningless without new financing, and the House Appropriations Committee took quick action Thursday.
The panel approved $500 million in new spending for the drug bill, an amount that would pay for barely a third of the estimated $1.4 billion first-year costs of the legislation. The final cost is expected to be about $2.5 billion if the multi-year measure is fully financed. The $500 million includes: $242 million for treatment, prevention and education; $179 million for new agents and equipment for federal law enforcement agencies; $42 million for the federal courts; $25 million for the Coast Guard; and the rest for programs of the departments of State and agriculture, and the FDA.
A combined bill to combat adult obscenity and child pornography had passed the Senate 97-0 previously, and was added to the drug bill when the House refused to take action. The child pornography language was approved by the drug bill negotiators.
The obscenity language passed by the Senate would allow the federal government to seize property used to commit or promote and obscenity offense; and authorize the government to seek civil fines against those producing, transporting or receiving obscene materials. Wright said the leadership agreed to target only major dealers or producers of obscene materials who were “knowingly engaged over a long period of time.” He said the language was not aimed at the bookstore owner who may have a single volume judged to be obscene.
He called the language “constitutionally respectable and acceptable.”
Lawmakers opted to accept portions of House and Senate language on a program to deny federal benefits to convicted drug offenders, including those convicted of possession.
Benefits such as federal public housing, grants, contracts, loans, mortgage guarantees, and some forms of veterans’ aid could be lost to drug offenders. Judges would have discretion, however, on whether to impose the penalty after conviction.
the president would submit a report on the program to Congress next May, allowing lawmakers to reconsider the proposal. No one could be denied benefits before next September. Social Security, Medicare, welfare benefits and some other veterans’ aid programs would be exempted even after September.
Negotiators agreed that if someone is killed during a federal drug felony, the federal death penalty could apply if: the killer was engaged in a continuing criminal enterprise; was trafficking in major amounts of cocaine, heroin or other drugs; intentionally gave an order that resulted in a killing; or killed a police officer.
In other key decisions, negotiators:
– agreed to create a “drug czar” in the president’s Cabinet, to coordinate national drug policy. The official would develop plans for every phase of the drug war, share with relevant Cabinet heads the authority to transfer personnel, and have the right to object when he believes drug funding is inadequate or misdirected.
Dropped a house provision that would’ve permitted introduction in federal court of evidence seized illegally, but in “good faith,” even in warrantless searches.
Accepted Senate language on child pornography, including a 20-year-to-life prison term for anyone convicted of facilitating use of a child for producing sexually explicit materials.
Gave the Justice Department nine months to develop a system for gun dealers to check whether purchasers are convicted felons.
Agreed that records of those punished by civil fines would be expunged automatically after a period of time.
– resolved that states initially would have to contribute 25% of the cost of federal grants for anti-drug crime programs. After the first year of the four-your program, the state portion would go to 50%. [Enter Bush Junior faith-based asset forfeiture Executive Order, which by 2008 would again wreck the economy]
– agreed to restore to US attorneys the ability to prosecute corrupt public officials under the theory that they deprived Americans of honest government services. A Supreme Court ruling in June 1987 had prevented such prosecutions.
– Agreed to finance drug education programs for private employees, low income pregnant women, gang members, students, and dropouts.
– Decided to drop proposals for random drug testing of transportation workers.

1920s legalization trends

China’s republican revolution overthrowing the Quing Dynasty and restoring antiopium prohibition in 1911-12 caused a massive opiate glut. Withdrawal sickness, often medicated with alcohol as a palliative, blurred the distinction between opiate addiction and fascination with alcohol before and during the World War. The war itself was sparked by the glut in opium-producing Balkan nations and morphine-refining Austria-Hungary, Germany, France and England as pressure mounted to ratify the Hague convention. Mr Dooley, a humorous political philosopher quoted by Milton Friedman, reported surplus morphine being added to distilled spirits during the depression begun in 1907. (link)

After the Great War, the Hague antiopium convention set afoot in 1909 was finally ratified at bayonet-point as part of the Armistice and Treaty of Versailles. With President Wilson’s corporate income tax inspections as public records announcement of July 28, 1914, wheat dropped and many stock markets closed. A sharp panic and depression attended federal enforcement of Volstead prohibition beginning the night of January 16th, as coercion and banking problems spread across These States.

Income tax and prohibition amendments lead to Crash

Canada had experienced a similar narcotic shock, and many provinces had adopted prohibition laws after the pattern of U.S. States during wartime conditions. A black market busily reallocated supply and demand, and with the return to peacetime normalcy much churchly legislation hastily enacted in the heat of war revealed itself a financial burden.

Within a few years most provinces repealed Prohibition: Quebec, British Columbia and the Yukon in 1921, Manitoba in 1923, Alberta in 1924, Saskatchewan in 1925, New Brunswick and Ontario in 1927 and 1929, and Nova Scotia in 1930. Iceland modified its dry law to admit Spanish wine, and even Russia legalized beer and vodka as violent anarchy alternated with deliberate mass murder.

A similar trend occurred in the USA, beginning with repeal of New York’s Mullen-Gage Act, to which womanizing druggie President Harding retorted that a “small and a greatly mistaken minority” imagined prohibition would be repealed. Backing the blaring was Wayne B Wheeler, the Harry Anslinger of the 1920s whose Anti Saloon League drummed up votes against any politician who sided with Satan against the Godly initiation of force rallied to crush the narcotic evils of the Demon Rum, Warlock Wine and Beelzebub Beer.

By mid-1922, the U.S. economy was a shambles not to be seen again until after the Jones Five and Ten Law of March 1929 again put the fear of the Lord into the myrmidons of Mammon. Federal wartime and Constitutional Prohibition had wrecked the economy despite the influx of money as war loans arrearage was dragged out of Europe. America’s reaction was to ignore the dry laws, buy off the fanatics with bribes, and churn out beer and bootleg gin from corn sugar glucose and Fleischmann’s yeast from Portland to Portland. It was a standoff between politicians & lobbyists versus red-blooded Americans, with freedom or coercion in the balance.

Politicians of the Methodist White Terror, drawn from Republican, Prohibition and Democratic parties were convinced that lax enforcement was weakening the economy, and that with enough guns, padlocks, prison time, lynchings, murder and confiscations, the economy would be up and running again in no time. Two theories of prosperity competed toe-to-toe. Religious fanatics shouted from the rooftops that coercion by deadly force was the key to a healthy economy. James A Reed, the wet senior Senator from the Anheuser-Busch State of Missouri, argued for freedom of trade and production and repeal of cruel dry legislation grounded in superstitious myths.

The same page recounts some symptoms of that relatively brief economic collapse. A photo of a morgue containing the bodies of 18 of 22 mostly immigrant workers executed by union goons at a Herrin, Illinois coal mine, showed things were not as rosy as the Anti-Saloon League lobbyist preached. Wheeler assured the Sunday School meeting that: “Over $2,500,000,000 wasted for drink has been turned into useful channels. Bank deposits and savings have increased, and the net increased wealth of the country last year was $8 billion.” In fact, bank suspensions way more than doubled in the liquidity crisis from 1920 to 1921, and stood at twice the 1920 figure in 1922. Asset forfeiture was a blunt instrument for enforcing prohibition even back then. So the search was on for something else to blame for Prohibition’s economic damage. Fast forward to June 23, 1930: PENNSYLVANIAN IS SOUGHT FOR TARIFF BOARD… Congressman Kelly was shoved forward to represent his state on the federal Tariff Board even as those opposed to the increase in the tariff on sugar were blamed for the Crash and Depression! (link)

Mystical pseudoscience already regarded alcohol as an addictive narcotic, so the cloak of camouflage was ready-made. The added inducement, now that Mrs Winslow’s Soothing Syrup no longer put crying babies in dreamland had palpable economic and religious benefits. The richest woman in America, addicted since childhood, used ethanol to lessen the discomfort of withdrawal sickness.

Settled science in 1913 took for a fact that whiskey–like guns and automobiles–killed people and was a major worsener of crime statistics. No Constitutional Amendment protected trade and production of intoxicants, and only smoking opium was barred as an import as an example to impress the Chinese. Suggestions were advanced that persons possessed by Satan’s whiskey should be registered by the government.

Concerns were raised, and some obstructionist pettifoggery, but gulping down the potions of Satan was not an enumerated freedom of action protected by the Bill of Rights, and legislation passed amid halelluljas to empower states to coerce common carriers and register users. The rising tide of Godliness lowered all rights and the satanic potion addict registration law joined the Bryanist avalanche of commonsense prohibition and income tax laws and Amendments popular at precisely the time a prohibitionist movement in China was creating an opium glut in Europe and Asia.

And so it was that prohibition laws reestablished their putative hegemony over personal choices while creating demand for opiates recently suppressed. This revival after the terrible setbacks suffered in the Panic of 1907, when the Pure Food and Drug Law of 1906 took effect–and wrecked the economy–was regarded as nothing short of miraculous.

Economic Results of Republican Prohibition Policies

Republican presidents Rutherford Hayes (1877-81), Benjamin Harrison (1889-93) and Herbert Hoover had three things in common: none drank alcohol, all were intensely and mystically religious, all presided major depressions–much like the one that began in 2007. Donald Trump never drinks or gets high either, but endorses all of the faith-based GOP policies that lead to economic collapse, market crashes, bankruptcies, recession and unemployment.

Rutherford Hayes, husband of Lemonade Lucy elected in a recession, returned control of the South to the prohibitionist Ku-Klux Klan, then signed a treaty drastically curtailing Chinese immigration. His wife banned all alcoholic beverages from ALL government functions.

Benjamin Harrison was, like George Bush Jr., the dynastic son of a US president. After defeating sitting president Grover Cleveland, Harrison signed the inflationary Silver Purchase Act that used the US mints to subsidize Western mining corporations. Harrison also signed the Antitrust Act, and abetted a coup to topple the Hawaiian government. The accelerating economic panic strengthened the looter People’s Party (pushing for a Communist Manifesto income tax) which received nearly 9% of the vote and 4 seats in the House. A high tariff on legal opium had created a smuggling industry by rail down from godless Canada. That avenue Harrison pinched off a month before the March 4 inauguration following Grover Cleveland’s  second election victory. This sudden regulatory change exacerbated the financial tumult of the times, and the People’s party pushed through an income tax neither entrenched party wanted. This deepened the depression until the Supreme Court, in desperation, struck down the parasitical monster.  Voters then struck down the parasitical William Jennings Bryan, who also despised beer and stumped for tee-totalitarianism.

Herbert Hoover’s Chinese interpreter had to surreptitiously drink all the liquor their hosts offered the mining engineer. This was back when the martial artist Boxer Rebellion sought to evict the foreign devils and their heroin from the Celestial Empire. Hoover promised in his inaugural speech was a “consecration under God…through the guidance of Almighty Providence”. “We are steadily building a new race,” promised the new president, nine years after Adolf Hitler endorsed “a Positive Christianity” and five years after Mein Kampf declared that positive Christianity the embodiment of ethical altruism. Hoover decried “disregard and disobedience of law” just 24 hours after mandatory minimum mystics in Congress made a 12-pack of light beer a federal felony with a five-year prison term and a fine equivalent to $110,000 in 1996 dollars.

Asset forfeiture, instituted in 1932 and enforced by Hoover’s Executive Order using income tax inspection as a prohibition enforcement mechanism, completely shut down the entire national banking system BEFORE Franklin Roosevelt’s inauguration. Hoover’s election was the last Republican victory for 24 years, during which time God’s Own Prohibitionists struggled to erase all records linking their policies to the financial ruin of the nation while Christian National Socialists were speedily tried and hanged in Nuremberg. In fact, the first use of simultaneous interpreters was precisely to speed up the trials and execution of Nazi war criminals.

Jimmy Carter banned most alcoholic beverages from the White House and kept all recreational drugs illegal. Good luck getting the Dems to nominate another faith-addled mystic. Which brings us to the current Republican nominee, the one, the Dilbert cartoonist assures us, “reportedly never had a drink, an illegal drug, or a cigarette.” George Waffen Bush invited faith-based organizations to wax fat and fanatical on federal funding through the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. These transfer payments from taxpayers to unproductive hands were preserved and expanded to include Mohammedan faith-based organizations by Democratic President Barak Obama. Obama also firmly enforces the criminalization of victimless enjoyment of cannabis, including asset-forfeiture confiscation of homes, property and bank accounts. Obama’s likely successor (favored by bookies at 3 to 1 odds to win in the Electoral College) Mrs. Clinton also promises to bleed tax dollars for asset forfeiture and toward the coffers of collectivised lobbyists who want men with guns sent out to arrest doctors or kill young people over vegetable matter and pregnancy prophylaxis pills. That is the situation today in a prohibitionist global depression that began in 2007.
