Change was what Americans voted for after the Bush Jr asset-forfeiture Crash. They got instead a slightly darker mixed-economy statist coupled to one of the white death-sentence prohibitionist fanatics responsible for the asset-forfeiture Crash and Depression that began in 1987. Armed with pseudoscience, alarmists fanned out to confiscate homes, industries, vehicles, bank accounts here and abroad.

Smart money fled banks and brokerages, the money supply contracted sharply and American soldiers were sent to Panama to kidnap their president, raid their banks, and meddle in regional gang wars between black market factions created by prohibition laws! Your retirement fund evaporated and jobs became scarce. This was repeated in 2008, again wrecking the economy and evicting Republicans from office. Soon after, with Bill Clinton’s wife Hillary at State and Biden as VP, the Dems revealed themselves nearly as dangerous.

Looter media and Congressional “witnesses” never mentioned this overlapping of significant Crash events.

The Bush asset-forfeiture Crash was followed by the Obama-Biden prohibition-related Flash Crashes of May 8, 2010 (Colombian bank accounts confiscated) and March 18, 2015 (release of State Dept. International Narcotics Control Strategy Report Vol. II, Money Laundering and Financial Crimes). The State Department keeps changing the name and moving the links. Right now it is still up, albeit possibly altered.(link)

For an idea of the pungency of the language despite expert massaging with euphemism, minimization, understatement, surgical elision and package-dealing these samples are illustrative: 

12. “System for Identifying and Forfeiting Assets”: The jurisdiction has established a legally authorized system for the tracing, freezing, seizure, and forfeiture of assets identified as relating to or generated by money laundering activities.

13. “Arrangements for Asset Sharing”: By law, regulation, or bilateral agreement, the jurisdiction permits sharing of seized assets with foreign jurisdictions that assisted in the conduct of the underlying investigation. No known legal impediments to sharing assets with other jurisdictions exist in current law.

Investigators regularly make large cash seizures of Canadian and U.S. currency and seize assets purchased with cash, such as real property, vehicles, personal property (jewelry, furniture, and appliances), collectibles (antiques, coins, stamps), and other assets. Bulk cash smuggling is widespread.

Throughout the documendacity, robbing folks guilty of violating nobody’s rights is fobbed off as necessary to combat terrorism. But the most flagrant acts of terrorism, such as the 9/11 attacks, were orchestrated by mohammedans involved jointly with the U.S. in Cold War Afghanistan. This business of sending narcs and goons outside our borders to foment superstitious aggression has gone bad enough already. Imagine for a moment the sort of modern weapons you and I would unhesitatingly use against foreign aggressors sent to These States from abroad to impose pseudoscience-backed coercion and robbery.

As FDR remarked in a tariff speech on the campaign trail in 1932:  “The villainy we taught them they practiced on us.” Meanwhile the dwindling Prohibition Party cried out it was the salvation of the 18th Amendment. In Germany, revived thanks to Hoover’s Moratorium on Brains,(link) Hitler shrieked against the death sentence given five National Socialists for the murder of a Communist. Does this remind you of anywhere? Do YOURSELF a favor for a change. Vote for Jo Jorgensen in November, and be the winner when your spoiler vote plus 12 million others messes up the election outcome for the tax-happy prohibitionist Kleptocracy. Next time, in 2024, their platforms will be WAY different.

So you can maybe understand our raucous laughter when looter shills whine that “a vote for Jo is a vote for (looter kleptocrat)” My vote for Jo is a vote for Libertarian Party principles that have worked for me since 1972. My vote for JO packs 20x the law-changing clout of a vote wasted on lying looters. They know that 0.0000014% is 20 times more than the normal grovelling 0.00000007% cast my a herded peasant.(link) My vote tells the looters to go directly to hell, do not pass Go, do not rip me off for another $200. North Carolina LP Growth

Pro-choice NC Libertarian Party performance

Another year, another new all-time record for the Libertarian Party of North Carolina.

In a year in which the number of registered voters overall in NC declined by 4%—due to the usual off-election year purge of inactive voters—the number of registered Libertarians edged up 3% to a new all-time high of 39,631 as of the end of 2019. In contrast, the number of Democrats declined 7% year-over-year, Republicans lost 4%, and even the number of independent (“unaffiliated”) voters declined by 1%.

The 2019 purge was the second biggest in the last 26 years (as far back as our annual data go), exceeded only by a 5% reduction in the voter rolls in 2001. The declines were the worst ever for the Ds, second worst ever for the Us, and tied for second worst for the Rs during that time span. It was also the slowest annual growth rate recorded for the LPNC (excepting the three years we were off the ballot, the number of registered Ls in NC has never declined year-over-year).

Bucking the trend were the two new parties: the number of Green party members was up 90% in 2019 to 1,938 and the Constitutionalists did even better, up 217% to 2,786. The Greens—who had a head start in 2018—started the year ahead of the Constitutionalists, but are now decidedly eating the latters’ dust.

Looking at the entire quarter century, the LPNC continues to lead the pack with a robust compounded annual growth rate of 14% compared to 8% for independents, 2% for Republicans, and 1% for Democrats. The Rs and Ds are consistently failing to keep pace with the overall 3% CAGR for the number of voters. The Democrats have grown slower/declined faster than the overall number of voters 25 out of the last 26 years, only beating the average in 2008 thanks to Barack Obama. The Republicans have beaten the average 11 times…but their last win was in 2004 and they are currently on a 15-year losing streak.

Overall, the percentage of voters registered as either D or R—the “Ubinger rating”—fell to an all-time low of 66.58% at the end of 2019, down (as it has been every year for 26 years in a row) from 91.87% in 1993. ***

Libertarian organizations like the NCLP are what brought us the pro-choice hockey stick vote share growth tracked by Fisher-Pry and other logistic growth curves.

History shows us that a growing small party gets its platform plagiarized by both halves of the entrenched kleptocracy. Every time votes flow away from a decayed and derelict political party, its swineherds get the message no amount of self-deception can distort.  Laws change as a result. The technical term for causing the looters to change bad laws is winning.

1920s Drug Fiends

Chapter 18

Drug Fiends

            A five-to-four decision by the Supreme Court in Seattle’s “whispering wires” bootlegging case settled the 4th Amendment issue of wiretapping on June 4. Our highest Court on that day pronounced government skulking over phone lines legal, ethical and good.[1] The Court’s stated position in finishing the work begun with the Sullivan and Marron decisions was that the Bill of Rights was so important that only Congress—certainly not the Judicial branch—had the authority to attribute “an enlarged and unusual meaning to the Fourth Amendment.”[2]

Thirteen Coast Guards were suspended June 2, ostensibly for accepting bribes to overlook smuggling of “liquor” from ocean liners, but that story had been suppressed for over 2 months and had developed an odor.[3] In Buffalo, June 4 was opening day for a conference between U.S. and Canadian customs officials. The meeting was organized by Assistant Treasury Secretary Seymour Lowman. This is the same Lowman, who replaced Lincoln Andrews after Andrews was forced by Elmer Irey – the heavy-artillery agent – to resign. Placed in charge of customs, Lowman’s specialties included narcotics smuggling and dismissing “dirty” agents.[4] When newsmen finally found out about this meeting nearly 3 weeks later, Secretary Andrew Mellon assured them that no railroad men had been threatened and that it “had nothing to do with prohibition or enforcement of the Volstead act.” This naturally raised suspicions about drugs, suspicions reinforced when 6 persons were shot on the floor of the Yugoslav House of Representatives. Yugoslavia was a major exporter of medical-grade opium and was reeling from widespread riots. This news hit reporters even as they tried to pry a scoop on the secret meeting from Secretary Mellon.[5]

In April 1921, the Literary Digest had run an unsigned article “Is Prohibition Making Drug Fiends?” The article raised troubling questions. The State Department understood perfectly well by 1922 that war-fed output and prohibition-enhanced smuggling facilities were thwarting all efforts at narcotics control.[6]

Repeal advocate Franklin Fabian speculated in a 1922 book that prohibition might have something to do with U.S. narcotics consumption being 6 or 7 times as high as in most European nations.[7] The very suggestion was hotly denied by prohibitionist Herman Feldman, who also denied that figures describing the true situation could be had from any source. Feldman relied on the usual apocrypha and anecdotes to shore up his beliefs, and shrugged off any hard data on arrests and convictions as proving only that enforcement was improving. Feldman’s source, a Dr. Kolb, argued that alcohol was actually a sort of gateway drug which led to narcotics use.[8] Nowhere does Feldman explain why no narcotics planks figured in U.S. political party platforms before 1924. Yet that year the Democrats—eager, of course, to exclude Asian immigration—suddenly began railing in their platform against “the spreading of heroin addiction among the youth,” while the Prohibition Party merely blinked and stood mute on the issue.[9] The sight of prisons steadily filling up with “narcotics” convicts led the Democratic Platform Committee and Herman Feldman to diametrically opposite conclusions as to why.

At prohibition hearings held during April of 1926 Congressman William S. Vare of Pennsylvania had declared the “increased use” of narcotics throughout the nation “appalling.”[10] Then on May 14, 1928, Chairman Graham of the Judiciary Committee reported that 28% of federal inmates were “addicts” and pushed for the Porter bill to segregate the junkies on a Kentucky “narcotics farm.”[11]

Yet the wisdom of the Harrison Act stood unchallenged even after 537 pounds of heroin and morphine were discovered in Brooklyn by New York Deputy Chief Inspector Louis J. Valentine’s staff in 1927—the year of the recent “Tong War” on U.S. soil and civil turmoil on Chinese soil.[12] Not only had alcohol prohibition increased U.S. demand for heroin and morphine, but the well-developed channels for alcohol smuggling served even better as conduits for smuggling drugs. It was probably easier to bribe a customs agent to look the other way if the agent believed that rum, not heroin, was being smuggled in.
